Abstract:
The present invention relates to at least digital transaction apparatus including a Data Assistance Device (DAD) including, a user interface that is operable to at least select data, and a DAD transmitter, a Digital Transaction Card (DTC), including a Digital Transaction Processing Unit (DTPU), and a DTC receiver, wherein the DAD and DTC are operable to transfer data from the DAD to the DTC and when subsequently using the DTC to effect a digital transaction, the DTC operates in accordance with the data selected and transferred from the DAD to the DTC, and wherein the DTPU is operable to receive and execute commands that, when executed, allows the writing of data directly to secure memory of the DTPU.
Abstract:
One example of a financial transaction medium includes a passive electronic paper display. A security code is displayed on a portion of the passive electronic paper display.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and system for securing a validation process of an online payment transaction. During an online transaction on a mobile device, it is requested a contactless tap from a contactless display card (thanks to NFC reader mode in the mobile device) to establish a contactless exchange session. During this contactless exchange session, the display card receives the amount requested for the transaction and the identification of merchant. The user is invited to check amount and merchant identification on the screen of the display card. When the user validates the transaction by for example pressing on a corresponding button then the display card creates an authorization message comprising enciphered financial user information and data on the transaction. With a second tap from the display card, the mobile device receives the authorization message which is transmitted to the display card issuer through the merchant for validation.
Abstract:
A secure payment system comprises a merchant POS client and a remote POS server. The merchant POS client comprises a reading device for reading a customer user token and for accepting transaction details and customer verification data, and also a computing device with access to a communications network and in communication with the reading device. The merchant POS client also comprises a merchant token associated with the remote POS server. The remote POS server is in communication with the merchant POS client through the communications network, and one or more elements of the merchant POS client business logic are assured by the remote POS server and not the merchant POS client. A merchant token for use in such a merchant POS client is described, as is a suitable reader device, and a method of conducting a transaction using such a payment system.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A dynamic transaction card that includes a number of layers, each of which may be interconnected to one another. For example, a dynamic transaction card may include an outer layer, a potting layer, a sensor layer, a display layer (including, for example, LEDs, a dot matrix display, and the like), a microcontroller/microprocessor storing firmware, Java applets, Java applet integration, and the like, an EMV processor, an energy storage component, one or more antenna (e.g., Bluetooth antenna, NFC antenna, and the like), a power management component, a flexible printed circuit board (PCB), a chassis, and/or a card backing layer. A display layer may include enhanced features such as the use of display components as a barcode generator.

Abstract:
The MULTIPLE ACCOUNT DYNAMIC CARD APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS ("MADC") may be a flexible payment device where a first flexible layer has two sides - a back side, which includes a data varying loader element and an inner side opposite back side. The inner side may have a power source, circuit, processor, memory, and a graphics processor. An indication is obtained to display the one card account and accompanying graphics and card information and loaded onto the loader element. A display controller is also connected to the processor and controls the display. The transaction card second flexible layer has two sides, one of which is a touch e-ink display and an inner touch e-ink side.
Abstract:
Pursuant to some embodiments, methods and apparatus for providing and operating an enhanced payment display card with network support are provided. Traditionally, payment cards (such as credit or debit cards) provide a single function- access to a payment account associated with the payment card. More recently, integrated circuit cards have been introduced which allow payment cards to be provided which have microprocessors and memories thereon, providing an ability to store information about multiple payment accounts on the payment card.
Abstract:
An electronic information card for retrieving information pertaining to a banking account of a user is disclosed. The electronic information card comprises a casing having a front surface and a rear surface, a payment chip and a memory chip located inside the casing, a touch keypad located on the front surface, a display screen located on the front surface and an activate button located on the front surface. The payment chip initiates transaction between the user and the transaction terminal. The memory chip allows the user to access financial services such as checking account balance, checking monthly expenses, checking transaction information in an offline mode by navigating through the touch keypad. The display screen displays information pertaining to the banking account when a user navigates through the touch keypad. The electronic information card provides an enhanced security to the user while making online transactions.
