Abstract:
A system and method for automatically focusing imaging devices on an imaging set employs at least one tracker and two or more tracking markers, each tracking marker having an identification means and a tracking pattern. The tracking markers are configured for attaching to the imaging devices and to corresponding subjects to be imaged. A tracker gathers image information of the imaging set and provides it to a controller, which compares the image information to predetermined stored information about the tracking patterns of the various tracking markers. The tracking markers are identified and their three- dimensional positions determined. The distances between the imaging devices and the subjects are determined and the distances between the imaging devices and the subjects are calculated. This provides the focus setting information for communication to the imaging devices. The tracking patterns may have no rotational symmetry, allowing the orientation of subjects to be determined.
Abstract:
There is provided a method for restricting access to data stored on a memory card, whereby the restriction of access relates to what is able to be carried out to the data stored on the memory card during wireless communications with the memory card. Furthermore, there is also provided a memory card which is able to restrict access to data stored on it during wireless communications with it.
Abstract:
Imaging system for authoring a multimedia disc, including: receiving area for receiving a digital imaging device and forming a communication link with the digital imaging device adapted to transmit digital data to the imaging system; a processor for processing the digital data received from the digital imaging device; storage memory for storing the digital data received from the digital imaging device; an operating system for controlling the operation of the processor and the storage memory; disc member adapted to write or record a multimedia enabled disc; multimedia image authoring software application operating under the operating system for composing and authoring an image slideshow using at least one image transmitted to the imaging system from the digital imaging device and controlling the recording of the image slideshow on the multimedia enabled disc using the disc member; and at least one selection member for controlling the operation of the authoring software application.
Abstract:
A portable image-indexing device that includes a port adapter for connecting to a personal computer and a port adapter for receiving a camera card. The device includes memory for storing a plurality of image and video files and for storing image indexing application programs. A processor performs image indexing on images and/or videos and includes a power source.
Abstract:
A card I/F (11) accepts a recording medium such as a flash memory card storing digital image data. A main controller (7) reads the image data from the recording medium in the card I/F (11). A touch panel controller (10) informs the main controller (7) of unit images designated by a user. The main controller sequentially supplies the designated unit image information and relating image data to 8 printers (14-1 to 14-8) to instruct them to print the images. The printers (14-1 to 14-8) print the designated unit image information for designated quantities. In a case where the user selects free printing through the touch panel controller (10), the main controller (7) synthesizes the designated unit image information with an advertisement image stored in a storage unit (8), and supplies resultant image data to the printers (14-1 to 14-8).
