Abstract: Various exemplary systems and devices for knotless anchor insertion and methods of knotless anchor insertion are provided. In general, an inserter tool is configured for knotless anchor insertion in a soft tissue repair surgical procedure. The inserter tool is configured to insert an anchor into a bone of a patient to secure a soft tissue relative to the bone. A suture coupled to the soft tissue is secured relative to the bone by being trapped between an exterior surface of the anchor and a bone surface defining a hole in the bone in which the anchor is positioned.

Abstract: Systems and methods can be employed for trans-tympanic membrane access to the middle ear for delivery of a therapeutic agent, for example, to the round window niche adjacent to the cochlea under direct visualization. The systems and methods can also be used to improve accessibility and visualization for various otological surgical procedures, such as, but not limited to, cholesteatoma removal, tympanic membrane repair and ossicular chain repair.

Abstract: A fenestration device for fenestrating an endograft material, a retrievable vessel marker, and methods of using the same are described. The fenestration device includes a needle-like tip with cutting edges configured to make a perforation in an endograft material and blades configured to enlarge the perforation. The retrievable vessel marker includes a wire with a helical portion having four radiopaque markers thereon and blades extendable from the needle-like tip configured to be heated by an external heat source to enlarge the perforation in the endograft material.

Abstract: An endoscope can include a substantially rigid elongate body. A visualization channel can extend through the elongate body. An elongate viewing instrument that can advance distally and retract proximally through a visualization channel of the elongate body. The elongate viewing instrument can include a distal portion that is pre-biased to assume a curved shape when the distal portion is unconfined. The distal portion can curve when the distal portion is advanced distally to exit the visualization channel and can straighten when the distal portion is retracted proximally to enter the visualization channel. A distal end of the elongate viewing instrument can further include a light port that is configured to illuminate a target and provide an image of the illuminated target.

Abstract: A catheter system for forming a fistula between two adjacent blood vessels. The catheter system comprises a crossing catheter (110) for introduction into a blood vessel. The crossing catheter has a distal end section and an inflatable balloon (120) disposed in the distal end section for stabilizing the crossing catheter in the blood vessel. The catheter system further comprises a penetration tool (130) for penetrating vessel walls of two adjacent blood vessels to form the fistula. The penetration tool is disposed within the crossing catheter and is movable between a retracted position and an advanced position. In the inflated state, the inflatable balloon (120) comprises at least one blood bypass structure (121) for allowing blood to flow past the inflated balloon.
