Ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines kalibrierten Stanzteiles zur Verwendung bei der Herstellung von Prägeprodukten, insbesondere Münzen, aus einem flachen, insbesondere gewalzten oder gezogenen, Stanzteil (1), umfasst folgende Schritte: - einen Positionierschritt a), in dem der flache Stanzteil (1) zwischen einer Oberstempelfläche (4) und einer Unterstempelfläche (5) positioniert wird, - einen Kontaktschritt b), nach dem beide Stempelflächen (4, 5) mit dem flachen Stanzteil (1) in Kontakt stehen, - einen Kalibrierschritt c), in dem der flache Stanzteil (1) plastisch verformt wird bis zwischen den Stempelflächen (4, 5) ein vordefinierter Abstand (A) erreicht ist, wobei Material des flachen Stanzteiles (1) seitlich verdrängt wird, und - wenigstens einen Trennschritt d), in dem das seitlich hinausragende Material (10) des flachen Stanzteiles (10) abgetrennt wird.
Abstract:
A cutting apparatus for a welding machine cuts the corresponding end portion of a preceding member which will be welded and that of a following member before the two members are welded to each other. A shearing frame (19) is formed substantially in a C-shape, and is constructed so that portions thereof defining an opening therebetween can be connected by connecting mechanisms (21), (25) to close the opening. During cutting, the opening is closed so that the shearing frame (19) itself receives the reaction force due to the cutting, thereby enabling a reduction in both the size and weight of the apparatus. When the shearing frame is moved horizontally, the connecting mechanisms are disengaged from each other to open the opening and allow the member which is to be welded to pass therethrough.

The present disclosure relates to apparatus and methods for cutting a hollow turning vane to a desired length for use in a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. The vane cutting apparatus disclosed herein utilizes a pneumatically powered cutting mechanism that allows for a smaller apparatus footprint with no loss of cutting force and results in the single stepped blade rolling the inside edges of the hollow turning vane during cutting. The rolled inside edges provide a more secure and smoother fit when the hollow turning vane is fastened to the mating vane rail for use in an HVAC duct.

The invention relates to a method and a device for cutting to length strips (1) or sheets in the rolling or transport line (x-x), notably on a rolling table (2), using shears (3) having one blade holder (4, 4') each arranged above and below the strip (1), which blade holders are guided by means of fixing elements (5, 5'; 6, 6'). The invention is characterized in that the shears (3) with the blade holders (4, 4') and their fixing elements (5, 5'; 6, 6') are displaced sideward out of the rolling line (x-x) into a neutral parking position after each cut when a strip (1) or sheet is located in the rolling or transport line. Before displacement of the shears (3) the frontal joint between the blade holders (4, 4') or between the fixing elements (6, 6') overlapping the rolling line (x-x) is opened. For a subsequent cut the shears are moved into the rolling line such that they overlap same in a U-shape. Before the next cut the frontal joint between the blade holders (4, 4') or between the fixing elements (6, 6') overlapping the rolling line (x-x) is closed. Said joint is coupled in a positive and non-positive manner by means of a clamping element (7).
