Abstract:
A bottle featuring a tubular body portion (13) formed in one piece by a spiral wound tube manufacturing process. A shoulder portion (11, 15) is joined to a first end of the body and a base portion (14) is joined to a second, opposite, end of the body potion. The shoulder portion is comprised of an inner shoulder (15) and an outer shoulder (11) that provide mutual support for a neck (12) and to provide a structurally familiar beverage package shape such as a flask or bottle. The neck may comprise a frustum shaped end (26) that engages with a mating surface (23) of the inner shoulder (15).
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention provides a shipping container, a paper tube, an end cap and a method. The shipping container includes a tube (10) and an end cap (50). The tube has a cylindrical body (20) and an open end (30). The cylindrical body has a mounting opening (40) formed therein adjacent to the open end. The end cap includes a circular sidewall (60) that is adapted to be received by the open end of the tube such that either the circular sidewall is surrounded by the cylindrical body or the cylindrical body is radially surrounded by the circular sidewall. The circular sidewall includes a projection (70) that extends away from the circular sidewall and into the mounting opening so as to releasably secure the end cap to the tube.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a packing drum containing a moisture cross-linking melt adhesive (8) which is surrounded by a moisture-tight can comprising a lid (2) made of a composite material, PE- or PP-coated white sheet metal consisting of a casing (1) and a floor. The floor has the form of a moisture-tight flexible membrane (3).The packing drum can in particular be charged in a very economic manner with adhesive.
Abstract:
A sleeve for a beverage cup comprises a main wall and bottom hingedly attached to a bottom edge of the main wall. The main wall has an open top end and a bottom end. The main wall defines a central cavity for receiving at least a portion of a beverage cup inserted into the central cavity via the open top end. The bottom comprises a circular floor portion and a plurality of fingers projecting radially from the floor portion. When the sleeve is in a deployed position for use, the floor portion is substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the sleeve and closes off the bottom end of the main wall, the fingers are bent upward relative to the floor portion, and the fingers are in contact with an inner surface of the main wall.
Abstract:
The cover of a plastic water storage tank is attached to a tank base having a liner by means of alternative-feature joints, including elastically engageable joint features and lock joint features. A plastic water tank base with a liner is formed by putting at least a portion of sleeve (96) of the liner around the core (82C) of an injection mold, positioning the core within the cavity (84C) of the mold, injecting a first plastic to form the substrate (91) of the base, withdrawing the core a small distance from the cavity, and injecting a second plastic to form the remainder portion (93) of the liner.
Abstract:
A cylindrical or cup-shaped ice-cream packing container is disclosed. An opening is formed to have a flat surface on the upper surface to which the cover is adhered, the flat upper surface forming a circular ring having an inner diameter and an outer diameter. A cover is formed in a disc, and has a plurality of wedge-shape cut portions formed along a circumference at regular intervals and having the same depth toward a center of the disc, an inner tear-off line concentrically formed on an inner surface of the cover that is engaged to the opening of the main body and having a diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the opening and a depth corresponding to a half of a thickness of the cover, and an outer tear-off line concentrically formed on an outer surface of the cover opposite to the surface which is engaged to the opening of the body, the outer tear-off line consisting of a circular tear-off line having a diameter larger than the inner diameter of the opening and a depth corresponding to a half of a thickness of the cover and a plurality of tear-off lines diametrically extending from the tear-off line to connect an inner end of the cut portion.
Abstract:
A container comprises a lateral portion (11) of plastics coated paperboard, a bottom portion (12) of plastics and a top portion (13) of plastics, the top portion (13) being sealingly attached to the lateral portion (11) along an edge thereof and including a substantially cylindrical neck (21) and an annular rib (23) around the outside surface of the neck (21) and by way of which the container can be supported during mechanical handling thereof, whereby the container can be mechanically handled in the same manner as a conventional plastics bottle.
