An automatic transmission for a vehicle which automatically carries out transmission control in relation to the running of the vehicle. In addition to an operation lever (111, 112) such as a select lever, a hold switch (180) is provided for informing an automatic transmission controller (130) of the need for a hold operation to automatically hold the currently selected gear position (speed step) of the transmission (160). The hold operation is executed by the controller depending upon the operation of the hold switch. When the forward-reverse switching is effected after the hold switch is operated, furthermore, the transmission at the time of start is once switched (shifted) to the second speed step forcibly. As the desired speed step that is held is reached accompanying the rise of the vehicle speed, this speed step is automatically held as a result of the hold operation. Therefore, even vehicles for construction machinery such as wheel loaders are permitted to execute the operation efficiently and smoothly.

This invention intends to provide a pressure oil feed circuit device for a hydraulic cylinder of an operation machine which can control a pump discharge flow rate so that the difference between a pump discharge pressure and a load pressure becomes constant during the normal operation of the operation machine and can control the discharge flow rate of the pump so to decrease it during the fine operation of the operation machine. The pressure oil feed circuit device includes a larger diameter piston (9) for operating the capacity regulation member (8) of a variable capacity pump (2) in such a direction as to reduce the pump capacity; a smaller diameter piston (10) for operating the capacity regulation member (8) of the variable capacity pump (2) in such a direction as to increase the pump capacity, the smaller diameter piston (10) having a small diameter piston pressure receiving chamber (10a) connected to the pump discharge passage (2a); a load sensing valve (11) for establishing/cutting off communication between the pressure receiving chamber (9a) of the larger diameter piston and the pump discharge passage; and means (12, 13, 14) for providing the load sensing valve with a push force exerted in the direction of establishing communication between the pump discharge passage (2a) and the larger diameter piston pressure receiving chamber (9a).

This invention provides a hydraulic circuit apparatus arranged such that when each of operating valves is operated suddenly, the stability of each of actuators is improved, and when the operating valves are kept at their neutral positions, the flow rate of fluid discharged by a variable displacement pump is increased to improve the response of the hydraulic circuit, and when the actuators are supplied with pressurised fluid, pressure compensation is made by pressure compensating valves. This hydraulic circuit apparatus comprises a bleed-off circuit (11) connecting the discharge passage (1a) of the variable displacement pump (1) with a fluid tank; a bleed-off valve (12) provided in bleed-off circuit (11) and adapted to be kept at its communicating position (I) when the operating valves (2) assume their neutral positions, and also kept at its shut-off position when the operating valves assume either their first fluid supply positions or their second fluid supply positions; and a flow restrictor (13) provided in the bleed-off circuit.

This invention relates to a temperature controlling apparatus and its method for keeping constant a spigot gap of molds of a plastic compression molding machine, and controls the temperatures of structural components such as a bolster, a slide, frame, and the like, that affect the spigot gap of the molds so that their dimensional changes calculated from their dimensions and thermal expansion coefficients are below an allowable value of the spigot gap. Fluid passages are formed at least on the bolster for supporting the molds and on the slide, circulation means of an operation oil used for a lift cylinder is disposed in these fluid passages and temperature control means for attaining the control temperatures described above is disposed at the intermediate portion of the circulation means, so that the operation oil is circulated while being controlled to the set temperatures of the structural components. The temperature control means can be composed of a heat-exchanger and a flow rate regulating valve. According to this structure, a mold gap such as a shut height and a shear edge clearance can be controlled to a constant value, the change of clearance with each molding cycle is eliminated and stable molded articles can be produced. At the same time, molded articles having stable quality and free from molding change with time can be obtained.

A controller for deducing optimum countermeasures in case the object to be controlled or the product becomes defective, particularly suitable for setting and controlling the operation conditions of an injection molding machine. To determine an optimum countermeasure in carrying out complex control of the injection molding machine (100), the controller has an input unit (26), for defect conditions, a memory (22) storing defect conditions, causes of defect conditions, and proposed countermeasures for the causes; evaluation means (23) for putting the countermeasures in a priority order based on the contents of the memory and conditions of the object to be controlled, predicting another possible defect resulting from the countermeasure taken, and deducing an optimum countermeasure; and a display (25) for displaying the proposed countermeasures. The control operation is carried out in accordance with either the proposed optimum countermeasure or one of the proposed countermeasures that is selected by an operator (27) from those on the display screen.
