Exemplary embodiments of the present invention relate to electronic dispersion compensation (EDC). The interaction between the frequency chirp and the fiber dispersion is newly analyzed. The linear and nonlinear properties of the chirp-dispersion are separately analyzed. A pre-compensating transmitter may consist of a phase interpolator (PI), a 2 tap data generator, a pulse widening CLK generator, a rising pattern detector, 4:1 Mux and an output driver. The present invention relates to a pyramidal kagome structure and more particularly, to a pyramidal kagome structure having a broaden contact area with a plate member and its fabricating method. According to the invention, a lattice mesh is formed with a plate so that continuous and mass-production is permitted and the produced pyramidal truss structures are assembled into a pyramidal kagome truss structure by combining the apexes of the pyramidal truss structures, whereby improved mechanical strength is obtained. Furthermore, the connecting of the pyramidal truss structures is facilitated due to the broadened contact area with the top and bottom plate member and an improved stability after combining is obtained.

The present invention relates to a novel customized sRNA that reduces gene expression in prokaryotic cells, a preparation method thereof, and the use thereof, and more particularly to a synthetic sRNA comprising an Hfq binding site, derived from the sRNA of any one of MicC, SgrS and MicF, and a region that base-pairs with the target gene mRNA, and to a preparation method thereof and the use thereof. The synthetic sRNA according to the invention has an advantage in that the degree of inhibition of the target gene can be controlled by regulating the ability of the synthetic sRNA to bind to the mRNA of the target gene. The use of the synthetic sRNA that regulates the expression of the target gene makes it possible to effectively construct a recombinant microorganism without using a conventional gene deletion method and to reduce the expression of the target gene, and thus the synthetic sRNA is useful for the production of recombinant microorganisms. Also, the synthetic sRNA can be quickly applied to various strains, and thus is very suitable for the measurement of metabolic capabilities of strains and the selection of the most suitable strain. In addition, recombinant microorganisms, which are obtained by metabolic flux manipulation using the synthetic sRNA and produce tyrosine or cadaverine with high efficiency, are useful in the drug and industrial fields. In other words, the use of the sRNA according to the present invention can make it easy to select target genes whose expression is to be inhibited for the highly efficient production of metabolites. Accordingly, the synthetic sRNA can be used to construct recombinant strains for efficient production of various metabolites and to establish efficient methods for production of various metabolites, and thus is highly useful.

The present invention relates to a method for optimizing duplicated transmission traffic for reducing traffic on a network caused by a duplicated content transmission in a content transmission system, and to a central control device and to a local caching device. A content transmission system comprising a central control device connected to a content server and comprising a local caching device connected to a client on a content transmission network so as to monitor duplicated content transmission, can enable the local caching device or the central control device to check a duplication of a content packet chunk, enable the central control device to transmit only a chunk identifier and flow information to the local caching device since the content packet chunk provided from/by the content server to the client is checked for duplication, enable the local caching device to check the received chunk identifier and, if there is a matched chunk identifier, transmit the content packet stored in the local caching device to the client. Thus, the load of the network traffic transmitted in a duplicate manner between the Internet and a toll center can be reduced, thereby achieving the effects of network operation convenience and cost-effectiveness.
