Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Steuerung des Eingangsmomentes an einem Eingang einer Getriebebaueinheit in einem Antriebssystem für Fahrzeuge mit einer als Generator fungierende elektrische Maschine, bei welchem gemäß einem Fahrerwunsch die Drehzahl der Verbrennungskraftmaschine und eine die vom Generator (5) erzeugte elektrische Leistung charakterisierende Größe ermittelt werden und in Abhängigkeit der aktuellen Drehzahl der Verbrennungskraftmaschine und dem, entsprechend des Fahrerwunsches von der Verbrennungskraftmaschine zu erzeugenden und von der Getriebebaueinheit aufzunehmenden Leistungsanteils das theoretisch am Eingang der Getriebebaueinheit einzubringende Moment ermittelt wird, das theoretisch am Eingang der Getriebebaueinheit einzubringende Moment mit dem maximal zulässigen Eingangsmoment am Eingang der Getriebebaueinheit verglichen wird, wobei bei Überschreitung das theoretisch am Eingang der Getriebebaueinheit einzubringende Moment auf das maximal zulässige Eingangsmoment am Getriebeeingang begrenzt wird, indem entsprechend der aktuellen Drehzahl ein Sollwert für die von der Verbrennungskraftmaschine abzugebende Leistung aus der Summe aus der aktuell vom Generator angeforderten Leistung und dem als aus dem maximal zulässigen Eingangsmoment gebildeten ersten Leistungsanteil gebildet wird und abhängig von dieser eine Stellgröße zur Beaufschlagung der Stellenrichtung der Verbrennungskraftmaschine zur Änderung der abgebbaren Leistung gebildet wird. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die aktuell vom Generator zu erbringende Leistung für den Antrieb von Nebenaggregaten aus der theoretisch zum Antrieb der Nebenaggregate angeforderten Leistung und der aktuellen vom Generator zu erbringenden Leistung unter Berücksichtigung des Änderungsverhaltens durch eine antizipierende Momentenregelung bestimmt wird.
