A number of differential teeth corresponding to the tooth number difference that is directed from the second side of the first control gear (8) to the first side of the first control gear (8) ends in the bottom of the first control gear (8). The shifting device is equipped to displace the output assembly (12) parallel to the longitudinal axis (20) of the drive assembly (10) into at least one first shifting position and a second shifting position, wherein the third working wheel (14) is engaged with the first working wheel (4) in the first shifting position and with the second working wheel (6) in the second shifting position. Such a manual transmission can be shifted between at least two shifting positions without decelerating a drive unit, wherein a positive engagement for transmitting a torque takes place in the shifting positions.
