摘要: A vehicle suspension system comprising a hydraulic roll control actuator 4 controlled by a hydraulic circuit 10. The circuit 10 includes a valve block having a pressure line 18a supplied by a pump 12 and a return line 20a, and a pressure control valve 22 for controlling the flow of hydraulic fluid from the pressure line 18a to the return line 20 to control the hydraulic pressure drop between them. Two actuation control valves 24, 26 allow connection of the actuators between the pressure and return lines to control the actuating force produced by the actuators. A control unit 30 is arranged to connect the actuators 4 only when the desired actuating force is greater than a minimum value corresponding to a minimum pressure drop which can be produced by the pressure control valve 22, and to determine the minimum pressure drop from measurement of the temperature of a part of the hydraulic system

摘要: A vehicular suspension system for a vehicle respectively supported on at least one pair of transversely adjacent front support assemblies and at least one pair of transversely adjacent back support assemblies, the suspension system including a force transmitting means interconnecting the at least one pair of transversely adjacent front support assemblies and a force transmitting means interconnecting the at least one pair of transversely adjacent back support assemblies, the force transmitting means transferring forces between the interconnected support assemblies, wherein each force transmitting means includes connection means for progressively varying the magnitude and direction of the force transferred between the associated support assemblies by the force transmitting means as a function of the relative positions of and the load applied to at least two pairs of the interconnected support assemblies, the connection means being functionally linked such that the magnitude and the direction of the force transmitted between associated support assemblies by each of the force transmitting means is progressively varied to thereby maintain and return the attitude of the vehicle to a position that is at least substantially parallel to the average surface plane supporting the vehicle.

摘要: 57 The invention relates to suspension systems for multiple axle systems. With multiple axle vehicles, it is necessary not only for the vehicle to carry a total load within a permitted maximum, but also for the load applied to each axle to be within a permitted maximum, It is not uncommon in on-the-road, in off-the-road use that the wheels of an axle lose contact with the ground, thus transferring the total load to the remaining axles, which then takes loads greater than the permitted maximum, and for which they may not have been adequately designed. The object of the invention is to eliminate this problem, which objective is met by a suspension system comprising in respect of each axle (2), two trailing arms (3) one to each side of the vehicle and pivotally mounted (4) below the vehicle, the respective axle (2) being mounted across the two trailing arms (3), and a fluid displacer (5) mounted between each trailing arm and the vehicle body, the fluid displacers (5) to each side of the vehicle being connected to each other in the longitudinal direction.

摘要: A hydraulic shock absorbing apparatus for a vehicle includes a body left-side front wheel (7) (first traveling member) and a body right-side front wheel (8) (second traveling member), a left-side arm (11) (first connecting member) and a right-side arm (12) (second connecting member), and hydraulic shock absorbers (4, 5) provided between a vehicle body (3) and the left- and right-arms (11, 12). One end portion of each hydraulic shock absorber (4, 5) is formed by a cylinder main body (15) partitioned into a first oil chamber (21) and a second oil chamber (22) by a piston (23). The other end portion of the hydraulic shock absorber (4, 5) is formed by a piston rod (16) having the piston (23). The apparatus also includes a reserve tank (6) connected to one hydraulic shock absorber (4) via a first hydraulic oil passage (61) and connected to the other hydraulic shock absorber (5) via a second hydraulic oil passage (62). The first hydraulic oil passage (61) and the second hydraulic oil passage (62) are individually connected to a third oil chamber (57) of the reserve tank (6). It is possible to provide the hydraulic shock absorbing apparatus for the vehicle which can suppress a change in attitude of a vehicle body without increasing inclination of the vehicle body when the pair of hydraulic shock absorbers operate in the opposite directions while adopting an arrangement that can be readily manufactured.
