摘要: An apparatus for soaking steel pieces including cold steel pieces and hot steel pieces. The apparatus is of the type which includes: a soaking furnace for subjecting the steel pieces to a soaking treatment; a preheating chamber for preheating the cold steel pieces before the cold steel pieces are introduced into the soaking furnace, the preheating chamber being connected to the soaking furnace for receiving waste heat from the soaking furnace for the preheating treatment and having an outlet portion for discharging the cold steel pieces; and a mechanism for introducing the steel pieces into the soaking furnace and for advancing the steel pieces through the soaking furnace. The soaking furnace has: a heating zone for heating the steel pieces; a soaking zone being communicated to the heating zone and having a heat source for heating the steel pieces, which have been heated in the heating zone, at a higher temperaturethan in the heating zone for the soaking treatment, the soaking zone having a ceiling higher than a ceiling of the heating zone; and means for connecting the heating zone to the preheating chamber for feeding waste heat.

摘要: There is provided a high-performance permanent magnet. A method of manufacturing a permanent magnet comprises a solution heat treatment. The solution heat treatment includes: performing a heat treatment at a temperature T ST ; placing a cooling member including a first layer and a second layer on the first layer between the heater and the treatment object so that the first layer faces the treatment object; and transferring the treatment object together with the cooling member to the outside of a heating chamber, and cooling the treatment object until a temperature of the treatment object becomes a temperature lower than a temperature T ST - 200°C. In the step of cooling the treatment object, a cooling rate until the temperature of the treatment object becomes the temperature T ST - 200°C is 5 °C/s or more.

When the door (42) is in its closed position, heat flow to the cooling zone (39) is suppressed. Movement of the trays (22) in the cooling zone (39) is effected by the intermediate puller (43), thereby decreasing the number of trays (22) to be moved by the pusher (35).

In one embodiment, a plurality of channel openings extend at least partially through a layer of the reducible mixture to define a plurality of nugget forming reducible material regions. Such channel openings may be at least partially filled with nugget separation fill material (e.g., carbonaceous material). Thermally treating the layer of reducible mixture results in formation of one or more metallic iron nuggets. In other embodiments, various compositions of the reducible mixture and the formation of the reducible mixture provide one or more beneficial characteristics.

摘要: A continuous furnace for baking ceramic moulded parts has a heating area (14), a baking area (16) and a cooling area (18). At least one smoke gas duct (22) extends from the heating area (14) into a combustion chamber (24) and at least one hot air duct (28) leads back from the combustion chamber (24) to the heating area (14). Hot air loaded with binder fractions is extracted from the heating area at one or several spots. The combustion gasses are then led into a combustion chamber where they are burned, so that a largely purified hot air may then be led back to the heating area.
