Abstract:
The present invention is in the field of processes for the generation of thin inorganic films on substrates, in particular atomic layer deposition processes. It relates to a process for preparing metal films comprising (a) depositing a metal-containing compound from the gaseous state onto a solid substrate and (b) bringing the solid substrate with the deposited metal-containing compound in contact with a reducing agent in the gaseous state, wherein the reducing agent is or at least partially forms at the surface of the solid substrate a carbene, a silylene or a phosphor radical.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the reductive amination of a carbonyl compound, comprising one or more carbonyl groups that can be aminated reductively, forming the corresponding primary amine, characterized in that the reaction is carried out in the presence of a homogenously dissolved complex catalyst (K), containing at least one metal atom from group 8, 9 or 10 of the periodic system, which bears a bidentate phosphane ligand, a carbonyl ligand, a neutral ligand and a hydride ligand, and an acid as co-catalyst.
Abstract:
The present invention is in the field of processes for the generation of thin inorganic films on substrates, in particular atomic layer deposition processes. In detail the present invention relates a process comprising bringing a compound of general formula (I) into the gaseous or aerosol state (Fig.) and depositing the compound of general formula (I) from the gaseous or aerosol state onto a solid substrate, wherein R1 and R4 are independent of each other an alkyl group, an aryl group or a trialkylsilyl group, R2, R3, R5 and R6 are independent of each other hydrogen, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a trialkylsilyl group, n is an integer from 1 to 3, M is Ni or Co, X is a ligand which coordinates M, and m is an integer from 0 to 4.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for preparing primary amines by alcohol amination of alcohols with ammonia to eliminate water, wherein the alcohol amination is conducted under homogeneous catalysis in the presence of at least one complex catalyst comprising ruthenium and at least one at least bidentate donor ligand, but no anionic ligand.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing carboxylic acid esters, comprising the reaction of at least one primary mono alcohol or a mixture of a primary mono alcohol and at least one alcohol differing from this in the presence of a transition metal carbene complex catalyst (K), which has as the central atom (M) at least one transition metal atom of group 8, 9 or 10 of the periodic table (IUPAC) and at least one monodentate N-heterocyclic carbene ligand, in the presence of a base, characterized in that the catalyst (K) is produced by reaction of a transition metal compound (V), which has at least one transition metal atom of group 8, 9 or 10 of the periodic table (IUPAC), but no carbene ligand, with an imidazolium salt in the presence of the primary mono alcohol and the base, wherein the reaction is a bulk reaction.
