The present invention relates to the field of adhesive tapes, more particularly to that of cleavable adhesive tapes, for the adhesive bonding and encapsulation of permeate-sensitive surfaces. Specifically the present invention relates to a cleavable adhesive tape which can be kept in storage and which comprises (i) at least one backing layer, (ii) at least one outer layer and (iii) at least one adhesive-bonding layer which is present on at least part of a surface and which has a complex viscosity smaller than or equal to 1000 Pas, measured in accordance with ISO 6721-10 at 23°C and at a frequency of 1 rad/s, comprising at least one hardenable liquid adhesive.
