    摘要: A stent graft adaptor (10) has an outer graft tube (12) and an inner graft tube (14) with the inner graft (14) tube substantially concentric with and within the outer graft tube (12). A joining member (16) extends between the inner graft tube (14) and the outer graft tube (12). The joining member (16) can be a continuous fold of graft material extending from a proximal end of the outer tube (12) to a proximal end of the inner tube (14). The inner graft tube (14) has at least one self-expanding stent (24) on an outer surface thereof and the outer graft tube has at least one self-expanding stent (18) on an inner surface. The outer surface of the outer graft tube (12) provides a sealing surface to engage against the wall of a vessel and the inner tube (14) provides a sealing surface (26) to engage with a corresponding sealing surface of a stent graft deployed through it. The outer sealing surface can include barbs (22) to engage with the vasculature.

    摘要: An endoscopic access port and sheath assembly or laparoscopic port (10) comprises a sheath (12) and a haemostatic valve. The sheath has an elongate tubular body and a sheath lumen through it. The haemostatic valve comprises a housing (14) and the housing comprises a tubular body with an internal lumen (18). A first end of the housing (14) is connected to the sheath, and the sheath lumen and the internal lumen are in fluid communication. The second end of the housing (14) has an access aperture. There is a substantially cylindrical valve assembly (27) within the housing (14) at the second end of the housing (14). The substantially cylindrical valve assembly (27) is formed from a plurality of valve segments (28). Each valve segment (28) has an elongate body being in cross-section a sector of a circle. Each valve segment (28) is formed from a resilient material. The plurality of valve segments (28), when assembled, form the substantially cylindrical valve assembly (27) and define between each other a plurality of resilient interface regions (29) to receive and grip a medical device between them in use.
