摘要:
Scooters typically have a fixed rear wheel and a rotating front wheel on a length forming a handle. Such scooters are not always able to be used to perform tricks and stunts because they have a fixed rear wheel that can inhibit this. In particular many children and adults wish to drift the rear wheel, or have it at oblique angle to the scooter's direction of movement. The present invention provides a scooter wheel mounting capable of forming in use a two wheeled scooter, wherein the rear wheel being provided on a rotatable seat.

Blocking/Release device (D) for an adjustable wheel clevis (5) holding a wheel (4) with a substantially horizontally-aligned axis (9), with the clevis (5) being mounted so as to pivot on a substantially vertical axis (7) at one extremity of a leg (2) which is part support for an apparatus, the device (D) being equipped with indexing capacity to block the clevis (5) in relation to the leg (2) according to a predetermined orientation. The indexing mechanism includes blocking control (10) mounted on the leg (2) so as to allow for pivoting along a substantially horizontal axis (11), the blocking control (10) including one extremity (10a) serving as a lever and a second one (10c) equipped with a pin that interlocks with a blocker (15) joined to the clevis (5), a positioning system ensuring the stability of the blocking control in the first and second position, respectively activating and deactivating the indexing mechanism.

The present invention relates generally to a castor wheel assembly (1) fitted onto the underside of the frame of a shopping trolley. The wheel assembly (1) comprises a wheel (2) mounted to a wheel mount (4) and rotatable about its rotational axis (6). Locking means in the form of an engagement element (8) and an actuator element (10) is operatively coupled to the wheel mount (4) for releasably engaging a locking element (12) of the wheel mount (4) to restrict swivelling of the wheel (2) about a swivel axis (S) of the wheel mount (4). The engagement of the engagement element (8) with the locking element (12) is only effected when the wheel (2) is rotated in a forward direction such that the wheel (2) is substantially freely rotatable about the swivel axis (S) when the wheel (2) is rotated in the reverse direction.

A caster assembly 100 for use with a medical imaging equipment is disclosed in one embodiment in accordance with the disclosure as including two support bars 110a, 110b and casters 120 coupled to opposite ends of each of the support bars 110a, 110b. The support bars 110a, 11 0b are configured to pivotally mount a bottom side of a main body of the medical imaging equipment. One of the two support bars 110a, 110b includes a bridge portion. The bridge portion 113 is configured to allow a portion of the other of the two support bars 110a, 110b to extend therethrough and to pivot therein. One of the support bars 110a, 110b has an engagement pin 131 provided thereon. A link bar 132 is pivotally coupled to the other of the support bars 110a, 110b at its one end thereof. The link bar 132 has a portion 132a for engagement to the engagement pin 131 at its opposite end.
