摘要: A method for detecting and responding to a cut in by a target vehicle is provided. The method includes receiving, a plurality of images from at least one image capture device associated with a host vehicle, identifying, in the plurality of images, a representation of the target vehicle traveling in a first lane different from a second lane in which the host vehicle is traveling, identifying, based on analysis of the plurality of images, at least one indicator that the target vehicle will change from the first lane to the second lane, detecting whether at least one predetermined cut in sensitivity change factor is present in an environment of the host vehicle, causing a first navigational response in the host vehicle based on the identification of the at least one indicator and based on a value associated with a first cut in sensitivity parameter where no predetermined cut in sensitivity change factor is detected, and causing a second navigational response in the host vehicle based on the identification of the at least one indicator and based on a value associated with a second cut in sensitivity parameter where the at least one predetermined cut in sensitivity change factor is detected, the second cut in sensitivity parameter being different from the first cut in sensitivity parameter.

摘要: A lane guiding device (100) that performs lane guidance based on a vehicle position and road information acquired by an information acquisition unit (110), the lane guiding device (100) includes a warning control unit (102) configured to control issuing a warning when a lane on which a vehicle is traveling is not a left lane. The warning control unit (102) sets a warning stop range in which the warning is not issued when there is a place where the number of lanes changes on a route of the vehicle based on the vehicle position and the road information acquired by the information acquisition unit (110).

摘要: The invention regards a method and a system for assisting a driver in driving a vehicle, as well as a vehicle with such system being mounted thereon. Information on an environment of a vehicle is obtained by sensing the environment. Furthermore, information on applicable traffic rules is obtained. A request from a driver is determined from sensing at least one of a driver's utterance, gestures, gaze and operation of vehicle control. The traffic scene as sensed is assessed on the basis of the environmental information, the applicable traffic rules and the determined driver request. Information as requested to be output is generated in response to the determined request of the driver. Finally the information in response to the request from the driver is output.

摘要: The present invention addresses the problem that a host vehicle changes lanes and comes into contact with a following vehicle or causes the following vehicle to rapidly decelerate when the other vehicle rapidly approaches the host vehicle from outside a recognizable zone in the presence of another vehicle traveling in the lane to which the host vehicle is about to travel. Provided is a vehicle control system characterized in that a driver is notified that a lane change is not possible, the vehicle control system having: an external recognition means for detecting the lane markers of the lane in which the host vehicle is traveling and/or detecting another vehicle in the surrounding area of the host vehicle; a limit-distance calculation means for determining the detectable limit distance of the external recognition means; a relative-speed calculation means for calculating the speed relative to a hypothetical vehicle present outside the detectable limit distance when no other vehicle is present within the distance; and a required detection distance calculation means for determining the required detection distance of the external recognition means required for the host vehicle to change lanes on the basis of the relative speed.
