摘要: A battery mounting structure for a vehicle (10) includes a battery frame upper (22) fabricated of fiber-reinforced resin, a battery frame lower (24) fabricated of fiber-reinforced resin, and an intermediate member (30) fabricated of fiber-reinforced resin. A battery (16) that is disposed at a vehicle body lower side of a floor panel (12) is attached at the battery frame upper (22). With the battery frame upper (22), the battery frame lower (24) structures a closed cross section structure. The intermediate member (30) is interposed between the battery frame upper and the battery frame lower. The intermediate member (30) is provided with a plural number of upper end portions (32B) that abut against or are disposed close to a lower face (22A) of the battery frame upper (22) and a plural number of lower end portions (32C) that abut against or are disposed close to an upper face (24A) of the battery frame lower (24). Thus, the strength of a battery frame (20) formed of a fiber-reinforced resin material with respect to loads inputted from the vehicle body lower side is improved.

摘要: A treatment device for treating exhaust gases of a fuel cell stack of a fuel cell system is provided. A humidifier, in which the exhaust gas is usable for humidifying a medium capable of being introduced into the fuel cell stack, includes a water separator for reducing a content of liquid water in the exhaust gas. The humidifier and the water separator are integrated in a common constructional unit. An outflow area of the humidifier has a cross-section capable of being passed, which is larger than a cross-section of an inflow area of the humidifier capable of being passed. The constructional unit includes at least one collection area for the liquid water separated upon exit from the outflow area.

摘要: A hybrid power supply system having a fuel cell and a secondary power storage device is used as the power source of a drive motor for a motorcycle. Oxygen supplied from an air blower and hydrogen gas supplied from a hydrogen tank react with each other in the fuel cell to generate electric power. In a warm-up mode, where a temperature of the fuel cell is below a threshold temperature, the fuel cell generates more power than is to be consumed by the drive motor, and the surplus power is used to charge the secondary power storage device. In a normal operation mode, after the warm-up of the fuel cell is completed, the electric power generated by the fuel cell is smaller than the power consumed by the drive motor, and the secondary power storage device supplements the power provided by the fuel cell to meet the power requirement of the drive motor. The hybrid power supply system thus decreases the time needed to warm-up the fuel cell and uses the electric power generated by the fuel cell more efficiently.

摘要: [Problem] To prepare a metallic separator for PEFCs having excellent corrosion resistance, conductivity, and formability at low cost. [Solution] A thin plate is prepared by an ultraquenching transition control injector with a mixture of a metal powder having corrosion resistance to form a matrix and a powder having conductivity, as a raw material. When the matrix of the thin plate is crystal-structure metal, the plate can be formed at room temperature, and when the matrix is metallic glass, the plate can be formed in a supercooled liquid state. Therefore the plate can be finished into a separator with an intended shape.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for generating energy, wherein hydrogen is produced by at least partially dehydrogenating a hydrogenated liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) in a chemical reactor (3) and wherein, from the produced hydrogen, electricity and water are generated in at least one fuel cell (4) and heat for the chemical reactor (3) is generated in a heating device (8), wherein, according to the invention, the hydrogen produced by the chemical reactor (3) is first conducted through the at least one fuel cell (4) and then supplied to the heating device (8). The at least one fuel cell (4) can therefore be operated under partial load and thus with better efficiency than if the hydrogen for the heating device (8) is branched off before the fuel cell (4). The invention is preferably used in mobile applications, in particular of water vehicles.

摘要: A fuel cell system includes a battery, auxiliary machines including an actuator and a heater that heats cooling water circulating in the fuel cell. The actuator is driven to cause gas to be supplied to a fuel cell configured to generate electric power using the gas. Furthermore, the fuel cell system includes a warming-up operation unit that adjusting operations of the auxiliary machines so as to realize output of fuel cell such that a predetermined electric power is extracted, a discharge control unit that supplies the electric power from the battery to the auxiliary machines when electric power generated by the fuel cell is lower than electric power consumed by the auxiliary machines. Furthermore, the fuel cell system includes an auxiliary machine restriction unit that restricts electric power consumed by the actuator when the discharge control unit supplies the electric power from the battery to the auxiliary machines in a case where the fuel cell is warmed up using the heater.
