摘要:
This invention relates to a method of imaging amyloid deposits and to labeled compounds, and methods of making labeled compounds useful in imaging amyloid deposits. This invention also relates to compounds, and methods of making compounds for inhibiting the aggregation of amyloid proteins to form amyloid deposits, and a method of delivering a therapeutic agent to amyloid deposits.

O-(Perfluoroalkyl)dibenzofuranium salt derivatives represented by general formula (1) (wherein Rf is perfluoroalkyl being 1 to 10 carbon atoms; and X- is a conjugate based of a Brønsted acid); intermediates for the preparation of the derivatives; a process for the preparation of the intermediates; perfluoroalkylating agents comprising the derivatives or the intermediates; and a process for perfluoroalkylation. The O-(perfluoroalkyl)dibenzofuranium salt derivatives are useful as perfluoroalkylating agents which permit high-yield perfluoroalkylation, and are applicable to a wide range of compounds and so inhibited in self-decomposition as to be relatively stable.

Organic electroluminescence devices having the life of light emission superior to those of conventional electroluminescence devices, and novel arylenediamine derivatives which can remarkably improve the life of light emission of an organic electroluminescence device when the derivatives are used as a component of the device, are disclosed. The organic electroluminescence devices of the present invention at least contain a 4,4'-biphenylenediamine derivative having 5 biphenyl groups. The arylenediamine derivatives of the present invention include 4,4'-biphenylenediamine derivatives having 5 biphenyl groups.
