    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method of brazing wire capable of safely cutting the tip of the wire with high accuracy without depending on mechanical cutting and minimizing cost required for facilities. SOLUTION: In the wire cutting method for continuously delivering the wire 11 supplied from a wire supply machine 14 to an irradiation point P of a laser beam La through a contact tip 12 and for allowing a delivering end to be applied to laser brazing to be fused, an air nozzle 20 is arranged in a wire cutting area which is set adjacent to a brazing area, and a laser torch 10 is positioned such that the laser irradiation point P is arranged close to the air nozzle 20 by action of a robot arm 18. The tip of the wire is fused by the laser beam La while the wire 11 is delivered from the contact tip 12, compressed air is blown to a laser irradiation side from the air nozzle 20 to scatter a melt, and the tip of the wire 11 is shaped and the projecting length of the wire 11 from the contact tip 12 is made constant.     Abstract: A method for manufacturing a driving force transmission device for a vehicle having a case and a ring gear that is fitted to the outer peripheral surface of said case and transmits driving force from a drive source, the method being equipped with: a welding process whereby an annular flange is provided on the case or the ring gear and butt welding is performed by lapping a welding bead along the contact portion of one side surface of the annular flange and the case or the ring gear; a measurement process whereby the exterior shapes of the other side surface of the annular flange adjacent to the one side surface are measured; and an assessment process whereby the quality of the weld is assessed on the basis of the shape of the location corresponding to the lapped portion of the welding bead, of the shapes measured in the measurement process.
