Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy efficiency of an apparatus by operating an internal combustion engine provided in a power output apparatus corresponding to states of the power output apparatus. SOLUTION: This hybrid vehicle, which torque-converts the power from the engine with an epicyclic gear mechanism and two motors connected with a rotating element of the epicyclic gear mechanism and outputs the torque-converted value to a driving shaft connected with a driving wheel, stores a plurality of different operation lines LP, L0 to L3 with a constraint of different conditions for power outputted from the engine, and operates the engine and controls driving of the two motors by establishing the operation lines corresponding to a vehicle speed and motor conditions, thus improving energy efficiency of a vehicle and accommodating the output limit of an apparatus such as a motor. SOLUTION: Idling operation of stopping fuel injection from an injector 13 is carried out in starting of the engine 1, and the engine is started by starting the fuel injection after an engine state satisfies a predetermined condition. An ECU 9 determines whether or not a discharge amount of fuel adhered to an intake pipe 10 or the like at starting and discharged via the engine by the idling operation is a predetermined value or more, and if it determines that the discharge amount is the predetermined value or more, it starts the engine by starting the fuel injection when an engine speed reaches a predetermined speed even when the predetermined condition is not satisfied. SOLUTION: If a temperature of the engine exhaust emission purifying catalyst is lowered below a lower limit threshold necessary for keeping its purifying function when the engine temporal stop is allowed according to a vehicle operation condition and carried out, the engine is operated for heating the catalyst even if the engine temporal stop is allowed among the vehicle operating conditions. If the catalyst temperature reaches a predetermined higher limit threshold the engine operation for heating the catalyst can be stopped.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently regenerate heating by providing multiple granular exhaust emission control members arranged in a prescribed zone of an exhaust passage, heating its near position by heating means, and circulating the members so as to bypass the vicinity of the heating member. SOLUTION: Net members 3, 4 are arranged on a pipe enlarging part 2 arranged in an exhaust passage 1 so as to form a zone 5, and multiple granular exhaust emission control members 10 are arranged in the zone 5. In the zone 5, a heater 6 is fixed to an inner wall of a pipe enlarging part 2, and a heater side end part of the net member 3 is substituted to a shield wall 7. Also, the other end part of the net member 3 is substituted to a push-pressing member 8 freely to rotate around a rotary shaft 8a. When pressure of exhaust gas is increased, the push-pressing member 8 is rotated upward, and the grain shaped exhaust gas purifying members 10 arranged in the vicinity of the push-pressing member 8 are pushed up in a nearly upper direction. All granular exhaust emission control members 10 are passed near the heater 6, and are heated and regenerated.

A transmitter 100b of the satellite 100 transmits simultaneously the permission information to vehicles 200. The vehicle 200 receiving the permission information discriminates whether or not the transmission of its own vehicle and transmits information collected by a sensor 200d to the center 300 via the satellite 100 when the transmission is permitted. The center 300 processes the information and transmits the processed information to other vehicles.
