    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing member excellent in adhesion, recyclability, and sound absorbing performance.SOLUTION: The sound absorbing member comprises a foam formed of at least an ionomer resin, wherein the ionomer resin is an ionomer resin (X1) that comprises: (A) 100 pts.mass of an olefin polymer; and (B) 0.01-100 pts.mass of a metal salt having at least two functional groups (b) containing a metal component, wherein the foam satisfies the following requirements (1)-(4). (1) The density is 0.0090-0.20 g/cm. (2) The closed cell ratio is at least 0% and less than 60%. (3) The mean diameter of a cell is at least 10 μm and at most 2,000 μm. (4) The mean diameter of the hole that penetrates through the wall surface between a cell and a cell is at least 1.0 μm.
