PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a waterproof harness or the like having enhanced waterproof performance in a connection processing part of an electrically connected wire terminal. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of a waterproof harness 10a has a preparation process to prepare a wire harness 10 which has core wires 111, 121, 131 comprising a plurality of conductor strands 113, 123, 133 respectively, and a plurality of wires 11, 12, 13 having insulating coatings 112, 122, 132 surrounding the core wires, and in which exposed ends 111a, 121a, 131a exposed from one ends of the insulating coatings in the respective core wires of a plurality of the wires are connected with each other, and a waterproof treatment process to heat and contract a protective tube 19 with a terminal part 102 comprising a portion in the vicinity of the one end of the exposed end and the insulating coating inserted in the thermally shrinkable protective tube 19, and with an anaerobic adhesive agent 18 infiltrated into a gap between the conductor strands in the terminal parts. SOLUTION: A method for providing the optical cable, having an exposed shielding layer 206 that extends from a jacket 208 and a wire 230, including at least one conductor comprises fixing a first conductor section of, at least one conductor of the wire 230 to an exposed shielding layer 206; bending the wire 230; fixing the second conductor section 232b of at least one conductor of the wire 230; and sealing at least one portion of the shielding layer 206 and at least one conductor of the wire 230 in a sealing material 250. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the diameter of a cap for covering an end splice and to improve workability and waterproofing property. SOLUTION: A stopper 12 is inserted into one-end opening 11a of a heat-shrinkable tubing 11, and in this state the tubing 11 is shrunken by heat to provide a cap 10 having a top-end closed portion 11c. With a thermosetting accelerating water-stop agent 13 having liquidity injected inside the cap 10 from the other-end opening 11b, the end splice Y formed by welding core wires Wa exposed from the ends of a plurality of electric wires W is inserted from the opening 11b of the cap 10 and immersed into the water-stop agent 13. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof seal inserting device of which processing speed and processing sureness are raised. SOLUTION: A seal inserting station is equipped with a seal receiving device 21 which receives a waterproof seal 20 transferred via a seal delivering tube 16, and a seal holding device 23 which holds the waterproof seal 20 transferred from the seal receiving device 21 in an electric wire insertion posture. The seal receiving device 21 is equipped with a slide operation board 27 slidably supported at a standby position and a delivery position and having an engaging hole 27b to which the waterproof seal 20 transferred via the seal delivering tube 16 is engaged; and an extrusion pin 38 disposed at the delivery position corresponding to the engaging hole 27b of the slide operation board 27 with free extrusion and withdraw operation, which extrudes the waterproof seal 20 engaged to the engaging hole 27b by the extruding operation of the pin 38 and delivers the waterproof seal 20 to the seal holding device 23.
