    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spontaneously elongative and thermoadhesive low-modulus conjugate fiber having polyethylene terephthalate as the fiber-forming resin component, high adhesive force, and capable of producing a bulky nonwoven fabric or textile structure with preferable drape property. SOLUTION: The spontaneously elongative and thermoadhesive conjugate fiber is composed of polyethylene terephthalate as the fiber-forming resin component and a thermoadhesive resin component, wherein the thermoadhesive resin component consists of a crystalline thermoplastic resin with a melting point lower than that of the fiber-forming resin component by 20°C or more. The conjugate fiber has an elongation percentage at break of 130-600%, a tensile strength of 0.3-1.0 cN/dtex at 100% elongation percentage and a 120°C dry heat shrinkage of less than -1%.
