摘要： NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I {X is halogen; R is alkyl or group shown by the formula II [R3 is alkyl, cycloalkyl or (substituted) benzyl]; R1 is H or lower alkyl; R2 is R1 or OH-protecting group; group shown by the formula III is single bond or double bond; with the proviso that when formula III is single bond, Q is OH, and when formula III is double bond, Q is H, and when R2 is acyl, group shown by the formula III is double bond} and its salts. EXAMPLE:2-Chloro-4-ethoxycarbonyl-4-hydroxy-5-(6-methoxycarbon-yl-2-he xenyli dene)2-cylopentenone. USE:A drug and an antitumor agent. PREPARATION:A 2-halo-4,4-substituted-2-cyclopentenone shown by the formula II (R2 is H or OH-protecting group) is reacted with an aldehyde derivative shown by the formula IV (R1 is lower alkyl) in a proper solvent in the presence of a base such as organic lithium, etc., at -70-20 deg.C for 10-60min to give a compound shown by the formula I where R1 is lower alkyl.

摘要： NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I {A is H, group of formula II [R is (substituted) 1-10C alkyl] or formula III (the symbol of formula IV represents that the bond takes E-configuration or Z-configuration or their arbitrary mixture based on the double bond)]; R is H or protecting group of protected OH}. EXAMPLE:2-Chloro-4-hydroxy-4-(3,4-dimethoxyphenylpropyl)-2-cyclo-pente none. USE:Medicinal drug. It exhibits strong activity to suppress the proliferation of cancer cell, has excellent carcinostatic effect and antiviral effect, etc., and is expected to be useful as a carcinostatic agent or antiviral agent. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I wherein A is H can be produced by oxidizing the cyclopentene alcohol compound of formula V with an oxidizing agent such as Jones reagent in a solvent preferably at >=-50 deg.C for 10min-1 day. When the group R of the resultant compound is protecting group of protected OH, the product can be converted to another compound of formula I wherein A is group of formula II by the aldol condensation with the aldehyde of formula VI.

摘要： NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I (R' is H or acyl; R is alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl). EXAMPLE:l-3-Hydroxy-2-n-pentyl-4-cyclopentenone. USE:An intermediate for agricultural chemicals, perfumes and medicines. PREPARATION:Esterase produced by a microorganism, e.g. lipase of the genus Aspergillus, or esterase derived from animals or plants is added to and mixed with a dl-4-cyclopentenone ester of formula II (R'' is acyl), e.g. dl-3-acetoxy- 2-n-pentyl-4-cyclopentenone, and the resultant mixture is then stirred vigorously in a buffer solution of 5-11pH usually in 0.05-0.5M concentration at 10-16 deg.C for 10-70hr and subjected to asymmetric hydrolysis.
