PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide intermediate aniline derivatives of insecticides having high effectiveness. SOLUTION: The aniline derivatives are represented by general formulae (8), (9). In the formula (8), R 7 is a 1-6C haloalkyl group; and Y 10 , Y 11 , Y 12 , Y 13 may be identical or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl group or the like. In the formula (9), R 10 is a 1-6C haloalkyl group which may be substituted by at least one hydroxy group; and R 11 represents a hydrogen atom, a 1-4C alkyl group, a substituted m-nitrobenzoyl group or the like.
