    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and improved cathode catalyst for a fuel cell excelling in activity and selectivity to a reduction reaction of an oxidizer, and also to provide a membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell, a fuel cell system.
    SOLUTION: This invention provides: the cathode catalyst for a fuel cell which contains one kind of metal selected from the group consisting of In and Ga, and Ru-Ch supported on the metal, and is characterized in that Ch is one kind of element selected from the group consisting of S, Se and Te; the membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell; and the fuel cell system each including the cathode catalyst. The cathode catalyst excels in activity and selectivity to a reduction reaction of an oxidizer, and improves performance of the membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell and the fuel cell system each including the cathode catalyst.
