Abstract: A display device includes: an interlayer insulating layer on a substrate; an organic EL array; a metal layer connected to the organic EL array; a covering member disposed outward of the organic EL array and inward of a peripheral region of the interlayer insulating layer; a lower inorganic sealing layer provided continuously on the organic EL array, metal layer, and covering member up to the peripheral region of the interlayer insulating layer; a resin sealing layer covering at least part of the lower inorganic sealing layer; and an upper inorganic sealing layer provided continuously on the resin sealing layer up to the peripheral region of the interlayer insulating layer. At least part of a peripheral portion of the metal layer has a tapered cross-sectional shape convex in a direction opposite to a direction toward one principal surface of the substrate, and the peripheral portion is covered by the covering member.

Abstract: A display device driving method includes: converting a plurality of first luminance signals corresponding to a plurality of pixels to a plurality of second luminance signals; and driving a display component based on the plurality of second luminance signals. The converting includes: calculating a weight corresponding to a lighting period of the display component, based on the plurality of first luminance signals or the plurality of second luminance signals; calculating a cumulative value that is an accumulation of a value corresponding to the weight; calculating, based on the cumulative value, a reduction rate at which each of the plurality of first luminance signals is to be reduced; and calculating the plurality of second luminance signals, based on the reduction rate and the plurality of first luminance signals.

    Abstract: [Problem]
Provides a tiling display has a structure that prevents deterioration in display quality due to light reflection at the seams of self-luminous panels in the tiling panel.
    [Solution]
A tiling panel formed by arranging a plurality of self-luminous panels, Each of the several self-luminous panels has a main display area as a display area and a main display area on the front side. It has a sub-display area that is connected to the display area and has a part that bends toward the back of the panel. The two self-luminous panels that meet each other are arranged so that the sub-display areas of each other are close to each other, and theIn the sub-display area, a circularly polarizing layer is formed on the light input/output path.

Abstract: A display device is provided in the present application. The display device includes a flexible display screen and a plate-shaped back reinforcing member attached to a back face of the flexible display screen. The back reinforcing member includes a surface facing the back face and an inner face facing away from the surface, and includes first region portion(s) and second region portion(s) adjacent to each other in a first direction that is along the surface. When the back reinforcing member is viewed in section in a second direction that is along the surface and perpendicular to the first direction, through hole(s) through the back reinforcing member are provided in first region portion(s) in a third direction perpendicular to both the first direction and the second direction, and concave portion(s) recessed from the surface toward the inner face are provided in the second region portion(s).
