    摘要: A robot carrying a milling cutter or other multi-axis machine cuts a physical model and is directly driven in real time from a CAD generated mathematical model. The path planning is carried out in parametric space but with velocity constraints in the machine coordinate space. The method will generate proper points in parametric space and then map to machine space to minimize interpolations needed by machine controller to improve tracking accuracy while achieving the desired cutting velocity. Point data is computed by the microcomputer and transferred to the machine controller continuously while the machine is cutting. Long pre-cutting computation times are eliminated.

    摘要: An interventional medical device connector and a method for using same. The interventional medical device connector comprises an implant (1) and a pusher (5). One end of the implant (1) is provided with at least one lock ring (9). The top end of the pusher (5) is provided with at least one locking hole (7). The pusher (5) is provided with at least one control wire (4). The control wire (4) slides along the axial direction of the pusher (5), and the top end of the control wire (4) can reach at least one of the locking holes (7). The control wire (4), the lock ring (9) and the locking hole (7) together form a connection means having a lock-pin structure. Use of this means of connection effectively overcomes the defects of existing threaded connections, reduces risks, and provides convenience of use.

    摘要: Provided herein are systems useful in a manufacturing environment for transmitting operational commands to one or more workstations at which a workpiece is being acted upon by one or more pieces of manufacturing process equipment. A system according to the invention utilizes the 802.11a communication standard in conveying command signals wirelessly from a source to a programmable logic controller that is adapted to control the actions of a piece of manufacturing process equipment. A system according to the invention is adaptable to multiple-stage manufacturing operations through use of a plurality of receiving stations which are each equipped with a wireless modem in cooperative connection with a programmable logic controller that controls a particular piece of manufacturing process equipment at each stage. Systems and processes according to the invention are applicable to nearly any manufacturing process, and allow increased flexibility in management and configuration of manufacturing operations, while conferring a high degree of portability in many cases.
