Abstract: Embodiments may relate to a user equipment (UE) that is configured to determine a real-time transport protocol (RTP) media flow that includes visual data related to a plurality of images concurrently taken of a location and a supplemental information enhancement (SEI) message that is to be used to display at least a portion of the visual data. The UE is further configured to visually display, based on the visual data and the SEI message, the portion of the visual data to a user of the user device. Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, apparatus, and computer programs for configuring packet loss rate (PLR) thresholds for UEs in a wireless communications network. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, by a UE connected to a wireless communications network, a packet loss rate (PLR) threshold configuration message from a node in the wireless communications network; determining, by the UE and based on the PLR threshold configuration message, a new PLR threshold configuration; and in response to determining the new PLR threshold configuration, selectively adjusting one or more configuration settings associated with a connection to the wireless communications network based on the new PLR threshold configuration.

Abstract: Devices, methods, user equipment (UE), network core devices, gateway devices, evolved node B (eNB), and storage media for UE provisioning are described. In one embodiment, a UE is configured for codec bitrate adaptation via an interface configured to receive a bandwidth indication and a codec awareness indication from an eNB. The UE process the bandwidth indication and identifies, based on the codec awareness indication, a first codec from a plurality of codecs supported by the UE. The UE then configures with the eNB using data encoded with the first codec. This data may, for example, be Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) data or other such media data. Selection of the codec or associated codec information may be further based on the codec awareness indication.

The memory storing instructions that configure the processor to parse a manifest file to read information characterizing media content available for hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) adaptive streaming, obtain quality information of the media content based on a quality attribute parsed from the manifest file, dynamically switch streaming between different encoded portions of the media content in response to the quality information for an encoded portion of the media content deviating from a desired quality value, and generate a quality of experience (QoE) report including media presentation description information indicating a video quality metric.

Abstract: Provided herein are apparatus and method for signal RAN-assisted codec adaptation capabilities via IMS. An apparatus for a UE includes a RF interface to receive an SDP offer message from the remote UE, the SDP offer message including a first dedicated SDP attribute parameter to indicate support of ANBR capability of the remote UE; and processor circuitry. The processor circuitry is to decode the SDP offer message to determine the support of ANBR capability of the remote UE; encode an SDP answer message in response to the SDP offer message, the SDP answer message including a second dedicated SDP attribute parameter to indicate support of ANBR capability of the UE; and cause transmission of the SDP answer message to the remote UE. Other embodiments may also be disclosed and claimed.

Abstract: In some embodiments, during the SIP registration, the UE indicates in the REGISTER requests its support for ANBR as defined by ANBR attribute in the SDP and the P-CSCF indicates its support for the ANBR attribute in the SDP in the response for registration. In some embodiments, the P-CSCF serving a PLMN passes through the ANBR attribute in the SDP when the P-CSCF recognizes that the PLMN supports ANBR functionality. In some embodiments, the UE can include ANBR attribute in the SDP offer and answers when the P-CSCF indicates its support for the ANBR attribute in the SDP.
