Abstract: A surface treatment agent containing: (A) a water repellent oil repellent polymer having a repeating unit derived from at least one water repellent oil repellent monomer selected from (A1) fluorine-containing monomers and (A2) non-fluorine monomers having a hydrocarbon group with 7-40 carbon atoms; (B) a silicone polymer represented by formula R533Si—O—[—Si(R51)2—O—]a—[—Si(R51)(R52)—O—]b—SiR533 (wherein each R51 group independently represents hydrogen, alkyl having 1-20 carbon atoms, aryl having 6-20 carbon atoms or alkoxy having 1-4 carbon atoms; each R52 independently represents a saturated hydrocarbon group having 23-40 carbon atoms; each R53 independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-20 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6-20 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1-4 carbon atoms or a saturated hydrocarbon group having 23-40 carbon atoms; a represents an integer of 0 or more; b represents an integer of 1 or more; and (a+b) is 10-200); and (C) a liquid medium.

Abstract: A water-repellent composition containing (1) a polymer having 2-100 wt %, with respect to the polymer, of a repeating unit derived from an amide group-containing monomer (a) represented by the following formula [wherein R1 is an organic moiety having an ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable group, R2 is a C7-30 hydrocarbon group, and R3 is a C1-5 hydrocarbon group], (2) a co-agent containing at least one co-agent compound selected from the group consisting of a blocked isocyanate compound, a melamine resin, a silicone polymer, a wax, an acetylene-based emulsifier, and a polyoxyalkylene group-containing emulsifier, and (3) a liquid media. Preferably, the water-repellent composition includes no fluoroalkyl group-containing monomer, and preferably no fluorine-containing monomer. Also disclosed is a method for producing the water-repellent composition, a method for treating a substrate with the water-repellent composition, and a method for producing a treated textile product which includes treating a textile product with the water-repellent composition.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides organic fine particles and a slip-resistance agent composition which are capable of providing excellent slip-resistance to a base material.
