摘要: A surface treatment agent which is a water-repellent agent, includes (1) a fluorine-free block copolymer, and (2) a liquid medium which is an organic solvent, water, or a mixture of water and an organic solvent. The non-fluorinated block copolymer includes at least one block segment (A) which includes a repeating unit formed from one or more types of acrylic monomer having a long-chain hydrocarbon group containing 12-40 carbon atoms. The non-fluorinated block copolymer preferably contains a segment (B) constituted by at least one of: (B1) a block segment including a repeating unit, different from that of segment (A), that is formed from an acrylic monomer having a long-chain hydrocarbon group including 12-40 carbon atoms; (B2) a block segment including a repeating unit formed from an acrylic monomer not having a long-chain hydrocarbon group; and (B3) a random segment formed from at least two types of acrylic monomers.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for producing a fluorine-containing alkane, which comprises reacting at least one fluorine-containing compound selected from the group consisting of chlorine-containing fluoroalkanes and fluorine-containing alkenes with hydrogen gas in the presence of catalysts, wherein two or more catalysts having different catalytic activities are used, and the fluorine-containing compound and hydrogen gas, which are starting materials, are sequentially brought into contact with the catalysts in the order of the catalyst having a lower catalytic activity followed by the catalyst having a higher catalytic activity. According to the present invention, in the method for producing a fluorine-containing alkane by using chlorine-containing fluoroalkane or fluorine-containing alkene as a starting material, and subjection it to a reduction reaction or a hydrogen addition reaction, the objective fluorine-containing alkane can be produced with high productivity.

摘要: Organic fine particles and a slip-resistance agent composition which are capable of providing excellent slip-resistance to a base material. The organic fine particles contain a polymer having a repeating unit formed of: (I) a hydrophobic monomer that has a single ethylenically unsaturated double bond and at least one branched or cyclic hydrocarbon group having 3-40 carbon atoms; and, if necessary, (II) a cross-linking monomer having at least two ethylenically unsaturated double bonds. The slip-resistance agent composition contains (A) the organic fine particles and (B) an aqueous medium.

摘要: An organic fine particle comprising a core polymer and a shell polymer. The core polymer has a Tg or a melting point of 15° C. or more, the core polymer has a water contact angle of 100° or more, all monofunctional monomers constituting the core polymer are a hydrophobic core monomer of which homopolymer has a water contact angle of 100° or more, the shell polymer has a Tg or a melting point lower than Tg or the melting point of the core polymer, the shell polymer has a water contact angle of less than 100°, and all monofunctional monomers constituting the shell polymer are a water-insoluble shell monomer of which homopolymer is water-insoluble. Also disclosed is a surface coating structure including the organic fine particle and a water-repellant composition including a dispersion of the organic fine particle.
