Abstract:
In a system for controlling a controlled variable of a rotary machine having plural-phase input terminals of the rotary machine in which plural-phase AC power is applied from an AC power applying module to the input terminals, a command-voltage setting module sets, based on a request value for the controlled variable, plural-phase AC command voltages for the plural-phase AC power as a feedforward manipulated variable. A current obtaining module obtains plural-phase AC currents flowing in the respective plural-phase input terminals of the rotary machine. An amplitude correcting module corrects the amplitude of at least one of the plural-phase AC command voltages based on the magnitudes of the plural-phase AC currents.
Abstract:
A rotating electric machine driving apparatus includes a controller section that obtains an electric current detection value and generates instruction signals for switching ON and OFF of switching elements based on the electric current detection value. The rotating electric machine driving apparatus also includes an IC that is provided with a signal amplifier for outputting amplified signals, which are amplified instruction signals output from the controller section. When an abnormal state, in which one of an instruction signal and an amplified signal amplifying the instruction signal is an ON instruction and the other one of the instruction signal and the amplified signal is an OFF instruction, continues for at least an abnormality determination time, an abnormality detector determines an abnormality of the amplified signal, which realizes an appropriate detection of an abnormality of the amplified signal.
Abstract:
A sensor device, such as a torque sensor, of a motor control device or an electric power steering apparatus includes a sensor section that detects a quantity of state of a detection subject and outputs a detection signal corresponding to the detected quantity of state. When receiving a specific trigger transmitted from an external device, the sensor section outputs an abnormality diagnosis signal, which is configured by a predetermined waveform and used for determining whether there is an output abnormality of the sensor section, and then outputs the detection signal.
Abstract:
An electronic control device includes a plurality of control circuit units, a signal line, and a sneak-in suppression circuit. The plurality of control circuit units are connected to separate grounds, respectively. The signal line connects a first control circuit unit and a second control circuit unit. When a system is defined as a combination of a component and a ground corresponding to a control circuit unit, the sneak-in suppression circuit suppresses a sneak-in of electric power from the ground of one system (i.e., a subject system) to the other system connected by the signal line for preventing a cascading failure.
Abstract:
In a control device, control circuit units are connected to separate circuit power sources and to separate grounds. Ground monitor circuits respectively have a first resistor with one end connected to a voltage source, a second resistor with one end connected to an input terminal of a corresponding control circuit unit, and a capacitor. Among the one end of the first resistor, an other end of the first resistor, and the other end of the second resistor, at least one is connected to the subject system, and at least one is connected to an other system, and the control circuit unit monitors a ground abnormality of the other system based on a terminal voltage of the input terminal to which the second resistor is connected.

A rotary electric device control device for controlling driving of a rotary electric device including a plurality of winding sets, includes: a plurality of drive circuits; and a plurality of control units that include signal output units for outputting control signals to the drive circuits corresponding to the control units, respectively. The one of the control units generates a control signal according to a command value calculated by each system, a host system detection value relating to a detection value of a host system, and another system detection value relating to another detection value of another system. An electric power steering device includes: the rotary electric device control device; the rotary electric device that outputs an assist torque for assisting a steering operation of a steering wheel by a driver; and a power transmission unit that transmits a driving force of the rotary electric device to a drive target.

The drive device also has a drive element located on the first surface of the circuit board in a heat dissipatable manner, and serving as a component of an inverter that switches on and off to supply an electric current to the winding.
Abstract:
In a system, a triangular carrier wave is compared in magnitude with first and second two-phase modulated command signals. Based on a result of the comparison, on-off operations of the high- and low-side switching elements of two phases of a three-phase inverter corresponding to the first and second two-phase modulated command signals are performed while the high- and low-side switching elements of the remaining phase of the three-phase inverter is fixed to be on or off. A value of a current flowing through a first or second bus connected between a DC power source and the three-phase inverter is measured when a local peak of the triangular carrier signal occurs while none of the high-side switching elements of all the three-phases are on or none of the low-side switching elements of all the three-phases are on.
