Abstract: An energy conversion system includes an energy converter, a cold generator, and a liquid water obtainer. The energy converter is configured to convert energy of a source from one form to another form and generate heat and water vapor. The cold generator is configured to generate cold using the heat generated by the energy converter. The liquid water obtainer is configured to condense the water vapor using the cold to obtain liquid water. Accordingly, the water vapor generated from the energy converter can be cooled efficiently. Therefore, efficiency in obtaining the liquid water can be improved compared with a case where the water vapor is cooled by open air.

Abstract: A reactor includes a reaction part and a removal part. The reaction part is configured to generate at least two products as a result of a reaction of an unreacted material. The removal part is configured to selectively occlude at least one product from the at least two products so as to separate and remove the at least one product. The removal part includes an absorbent and a cooling unit. The absorbent releases heat at time of the selective occlusion of the at least one product. The cooling unit is configured to remove the heat released by the absorbent.

Abstract: A fuel carburetor includes a fuel passage, a heat medium passage, a space part, and an absorbent material. Ammonia as fuel flows through the fuel passage. The heat medium passage is arranged adjacent to the fuel passage, and a heat medium flows through the heat medium passage. Ammonia gas leaking out of the fuel passage flows into the space part. The absorbent material is provided in the space part for absorbing the ammonia gas. The fuel carburetor is configured to exchange heat between the fuel flowing through the fuel passage and the heat medium flowing through the heat medium passage so as to heat and vaporize the fuel.

Abstract: A thermal management system for a vehicle includes a first pump and a second pump, temperature adjustment target devices, heat exchangers, numerous flow paths including a first pump arrangement flow path, a second pump arrangement flow path, and device arrangement flow paths, a first switching portion for allowing the numerous flow paths to selectively communicate with each other, a second switching portion for allowing the numerous flow paths to selectively communicate with each other, and a reserve tank for storing therein heat medium. The reserve tank is configured to set the pressure of the liquid surface of the stored heat medium to a predetermined pressure (e.g., atmospheric pressure), and is connected to one flow path of the numerous flow paths.

The small-inner-diameter pipe has small inner diameters ϕH and ϕC, compared to the large-inner-diameter pipe.
