According to the present invention, as a monomer which is unlikely to be crystallized in a curable composition for manufacturing an optical member and which enables manufacture of a cured product having a high level of moisture-heat resistance, a compound represented by General Formula (A) is provided. In the formula, Ar11 and Ar12 each independently represent an aryl group or a heteroaryl group; X1, Y1, X2, Y2, Z1, and Z2 each independently represent a nitrogen atom or a carbon atom, or the like; Ar13 and Ar14 each independently represent an arylene group or a heteroarylene group, where at least one of Ar13 or Ar14 is a group other than a phenylene group; R3 to R6 each independently represent a substituent, q and r each independently are an integer of 0 to 4, and v and w each independently are an integer of 0 or more; L1 and L2 each independently represent a single bond, an oxygen atom, an ester bond, or the like; R11 and R12 each independently represent a divalent linking group containing a branched alkylene group; and R21 and R22 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group.

Pol1-Sp1-L1-Ar-L2-Sp2-Pol2 (General Formula 1) In the formula, Ar is an aromatic ring group represented by General Formula 2-2 and the like. In the formula, Z1 and Z2 each represent a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, and the like; A1 and A2 each represent —S— and the like; X represents C(Rz)2 and the like (where Rz is a substituent, and two Rz's may form a ring); L1 and L2 each represent a single bond, —O—, —OC(═O)—, —OC(═O)O—, —OC(═O)NH—, and the like; Sp1 and Sp2 each represent a single bond or a linking group such as a linear alkylene group; Pol1 and Pol2 each represent a hydrogen atom or a polymerizable group; and a compound represented by General Formula 1 has at least one polymerizable group.
