    摘要: The coating method of the present invention comprises sequentially applying an amine-neutralized type aqueous intermediate coating composition and an amine-neutralized type aqueous top coating composition, the method being characterized in that a coating composition mainly comprising (A) an amine-neutralized base resin having a hydroxyl value of 30 to 150 KOH mg/g and an acid value of 15 to 50 KOH mg/g, (B) an amino resin and (C) an organic sulfonic acid amine salt is used as the amine-neutralized type aqueous intermediate coating composition. The method of the present invention can improve the adhesion between layers of a multi-layer coating film formed from aqueous coating compositions and chipping resistance of said coating film.

    摘要: The present invention provides a coating method which comprises applying, onto a material to be coated, a cationic electrodepositable coating composition comprising (A) a polyurethane-modified epoxy resin-amine adduct obtained by a reaction of (A-1) a polyurethane-compound having one terminal isocyanate group in the molecule, obtained by a reaction of (a) a polyhydroxy compound having a number-average molecular weight of 50-8,000, (b) a polyisocyanate compound, and (c) a compound having one active hydrogen atom in the molecule; (A-2) a bisphenol type epoxy resin having at least two epoxy groups in the molecule; and (A-3) an active-hydrogen-containing amine compound, and (B) a nonionic film-forming resin, the weight ratio of the resin (A)/the resin (B) being 15/85 to 95/5 and the coating composition comprising substantially no pigment, then heat-curing the formed electrocoating film; and thereafter applying, onto the cured electrocoating film, an aqueous coating composition comprising a metallic pigment and/or a coloring pigment and a high-solid-content coating composition comprising (C) a carboxyl group-containing compound, (D) a vinyl type polymer containing, in the molecule, an epoxy group, a hydroxyl group and a hydrolyzable alkoxysilyl group, (E) a reactive organopolysiloxane, and (F) crosslinked polymer fine particles but comprising substantially no pigment, by two-coat two-bake or by two-coat one-bake.

    摘要: Disclosed are (1) an aqueous coating composition which is characterized in that the composition comprises:(A) an acrylic resin-type emulsion,(B) a urethane resin-type emulsion and(C) a crosslinking agentthe component (B) being a self-emulsifiable urethane emulsion prepard by subjecting a urethane prepolymer to reaction for chain extension by water and to emulsification after or during neutralization of the urethane prepolymer with a tertiary amine, the urethane prepolymer consisting essentially of (i) an aliphatic and/or alicyclic diisocyanate, (ii) a polyether diol and/or polyester diol both having a number-average molecular weight of about 500 to about 5000, (iii) a low-molecular weight polyhydroxyl compound and (iv) a dimethylolalkanoic acid in an NCO/OH ratio by equivalent of 1.1-1.9/1; and (2) a two-coat one-bake coating method characterized by use of said aqueous coating composition as the base-coat composition.

    摘要: Disclosed are (1) a water-dispersible resin composition prepared by a process comprising; (I) reacting a silane monomer (A) having hydrolytic functional group and/or silano group and polymerizable unsaturated bond with a vinyl monomer (B) in an aqueous medium to obtain a three-dimensionally crosslinked particulate polymer, (II) reacting the particulate polymer with the silane monomer (A) and/or an allyl acrylate or allyl methacrylate (C), and (III) copolymerizing the resulting reaction product with a vinyl monomer component comprising a carboxyl-containing vinyl monomer (D), followed by neutralizing the carboxyl group; (2) a water-dispersible coating composition comprising a crosslinking agent and the water-dispersible resin composition prepared using a hydroxyl-containing vinyl monomer and another vinyl monomer as the vinyl monomer (B) in the step (I), and (3) a coating method characterized by using as a base coat composition a water-dispersible coating composition comprising the foregoing water-dispersible coating composition and a coloring pigment and/or metallic pigment in the two-coat method.
