    Abstract: Multi-link device (MLD) security association (SA) query and query response procedures are described. Any of the links between an access point (AP) MLD and a non-AP MLD may be used to initiate association, reassociation, or disassociation procedures using the SA query requests and responses. The SA query request or response from one of the stations (STAs) associated with the MLD is sent to a corresponding linked one of the STAs associated with the other MLD. The SA request or response is addressed to the other MLD rather than the STA of the other MLD. Retry timeouts and maximum timeouts for resending SA query requests are set by the AP MLD and the same across each of the links.

    Abstract: For example, a first wireless communication device may be configured to determine a negotiated bootstrapping mechanism based on a first message-exchange including Peer-to-Peer (P2P) messages exchanged with a second wireless communication device; to pair the first wireless communication device with the second wireless communication device according to the negotiated bootstrapping mechanism; to derive a Pairwise Master Key Security Association (PMKSA) based on a second message-exchange with the second wireless communication device, e.g., after pairing with the second wireless communication device; and to determine an encryption key according to a third message exchange with the second wireless communication device based on the PMKSA. For example, the encryption key may be configured to encrypt a P2P communication with the second wireless communication device.

A device may determine one or more collocated access points (APs). The device may determine a target beacon transmission time (TBTT) associated with a beacon interval. The device may determine a first beacon frame comprising a first multiple basic service set identification (BSSID) element. The device may determine a second beacon frame comprising a second multiple BSSID element. The device may determine a time period associated with the first beacon frame and the second beacon frame. The device may cause to send the first beacon frame at a first time to one or more station devices. The device may cause to send the second beacon frame at a second time to the one or more station devices.

    Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to synched group key rekeying. A device may determine a first security key used for group-addressed management frames. The device may perform a security key rekeying to use a second security key in place of the first security key. The device may cause to send the second security key to a first station device of one or more station devices. The device may cause to send a first beacon frame comprising a switch announcement information element (IE) associated with the second security key. The device may cause to send a second beacon frame, wherein the second beacon frame does not comprise the switch announcement IE. The device may determine to switch to the second security key based on the switch announcement IE.
