Abstract: Computing devices, computer-readable storage media, and methods associated with human computer interaction. In embodiments, a computing device may include a display, a processor coupled with the display, a user interface engine and one or more applications to be operated on the processor. In embodiments, the user interface engine or the one or more applications may be configured to detect movement of the portable computing device indicating a direction a user of the portable computing device would like a portion of the user interface to move and cause the portion of the user interface to be moved, from a current location on the display to another location on the display, in accordance with the indicated direction. Such movement may facilitate the user to interact with the portion of the user interface via the interaction zone of the display. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Abstract: Apparatus, systems, and/or methods may involve reporting a road hazard. Road hazard data may be collected for an object on a road, which may include automatically generated data from a device associated with the object causing a hazard. The road hazard data may be provided to a service, an application, a device, a client, and so on. For example, the road hazard data may be merged with a map and provided to a map services client, a navigation client, and so on. An alert may be generated based on the road hazard data to warn of the hazard caused by the object. The alert may include a visual and/or audio representation of the hazard data. The alert may be used to automatically and/or manually avoid the hazard.

Abstract: A mechanism is described for facilitating dynamic detection and intelligent use of segmentation on flexible display screens according to one embodiment. A method of embodiments, as described herein, includes detecting, via one or more touch sensors, alterations in current in and around one or more areas of a flexible display screen, where the alterations represent pressure being applied to cause at least one of bending, rolling, and curving of the flexible display screen at the one or more areas. The method may further include dividing the flexible display screen into a plurality of zones corresponding to the one or more areas, where the marking/dividing logic is further to mark a plurality of portions of the plurality of zones to serve as a plurality of segments. The method may further include facilitating displaying of contents via the plurality of segments of the flexible display screen.

Abstract: Technologies for seamless data streaming include a control server and one or more client computing devices. A client computing device receives user presence data indicative of whether a user is nearby from one or more sensors. The client computing device may receive user interest data indicative of the user's interest level in the current data stream from one or more sensors. The control server identifies available client computing devices based on the user presence data, selects a target client computing device, and causes the data stream to transition from the current client computing device to the target client computing device. The target client computing device may be selected based on proximity of the user or the user's interest level in the data stream. The volume or balance of the data stream may be adjusted to provide a smooth transition between client computing devices. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: Technologies for structured media playback include one or more physical media objects, which may be placed on a substrate including a matrix of position sensor tags. Each of the physical media objects is configured to sense one or more position sensor tags and transmit tag information received from the sensed position sensor tags to a compute device. The compute device determines a cast of physical media objects present on the substrate based on the received tag information and selects media for playback based on the determined cast. In some embodiments, the compute device may select the index of the media at which to initiate playback based on the determined cast or collection of physical media objects.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate generally to simulating apparel items. A matching computer system may receive a request for an apparel item. The matching computer system may identify a 3D pattern corresponding to the apparel item. The matching computer system may provide this 3D pattern to a user agent computer system. The user agent computer system may cause a 3D printer to print a 3D artifact or modify an existing 3D artifact to simulate the requested apparel item. The modification of 3D artifact may be based on the data collected by the sensor(s) attached to the user which indicate the fitting and/or user feelings of the 3D apparel. The user agent computer system may print or modify the 3D artifact to include components that simulate characteristics of the requested apparel item. The 3D artifact may provide feedback to the user agent computer system based on sensing measurements. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
