Abstract:
A battery accumulates electric power. A terminal high-speed wireless communication portion wirelessly communicates information. A terminal communication setting portion sets predetermined setting information related to wireless communication by the terminal high-speed wireless communication portion. A coil antenna is an antenna that receives electric power for recharging the battery in a contactless manner from an external terminal, the coil antenna transmitting or receiving the setting information to or from the external terminal.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal device configured to have a built in battery and connect to a network, includes a wireless communication interface configured to connect to the network through wireless communication, and a wired communication interface configured to connect to the network directly or indirectly through wired communication. The device further includes a wired connection detection unit configured to detect whether or not a wired line, which is connected directly or indirectly to the network, is connected to the wired communication interface, and a control unit configured to make the wireless communication interface available when the wired connection detection unit has detected the connection of the wired line.
Abstract:
In order to assure security of classified information, in present invention, before data take-out, third and fourth distributed data are created from first and second distributed data, the first and the second distributed data are saved in a server, and the third and the fourth distributed data are used in take-out.
Abstract:
An electronic still camera includes a position calculating unit. A storage unit stores the self-position data calculated by the position calculating unit, as photography-site data, in association with the image data acquired by photographing an object. If the self-position data cannot be acquired at the time of photographing the object, a control unit sets the self-position data acquired by the position calculating unit at a time different from the time of photographing the object, in the storage unit as the photography-site data.
Abstract:
An IP telephone system includes a source IP telephone apparatus, a destination telephone apparatus, a Web server and an ENUM server. The IP telephone apparatuses are connected to an IP network. The Web server stores ring tone information corresponding to a telephone number assigned to the source or destination IP telephone apparatus. The ENUM server stores a NAPTR resource record in which a URI specifies link data related to the ring tone information stored in the Web server. In the IP telephone system, the IP telephone apparatus that has received a call transmits, to the ENUM server, a query for a NAPTR record corresponding to an intended recipient's telephone number. The IP telephone apparatus then transmits, to the Web server, a request for the ring tone information corresponding to the intended recipient's telephone number according to the obtained NAPTR resource record, and sounds a ring tone according to the obtained ring tone information
Abstract:
An electronic-mail apparatus comprises an acceptor that accepts an electronic-mail, an electronic-mail transmitter that transmits the accepted electronic-mail to a designated electronic mail destination address, and an operational panel that includes a start member that starts a transmission of an electronic-mail to a destination address. The operational panel designates an electronic mail destination address, and further designates an alternative destination address, to be used in case of a transmission completion failure, to which a message indicating a failure in completion of a started transmission of an electronic-mail is sent when the transmission of an electronic-mail started by the start member is not completed. The message provides an indication, at the alternative destination address, of a transmission completion failure during transmission of an electronic-mail.
Abstract:
An IP telephone system includes a source IP telephone apparatus, a destination telephone apparatus, a Web server and an ENUM server. The IP telephone apparatuses are connected to an IP network. The Web server stores control information for controlling an answering machine function. The control information corresponds to a telephone number assigned to the source or destination IP telephone apparatus. The ENUM server stores a NAPTR resource record in which a URI specifies link information related to the control information stored in the Web server. In the IP telephone system, the IP telephone apparatus that has received a call transmits, to the ENUM server, a query for a NAPTR record corresponding to an intended recipient's telephone number. The IP telephone apparatus then transmits, to the Web server, a request for the control information corresponding to the URI included in the obtained NAPTR resource record, and controls the answering machine function according to the obtained control information.
Abstract:
A facsimile apparatus transmits facsimile data converted from e-mail data to a facsimile destination via a public communication network. A receiver receives the e-mail data from a requesting node. A memory stores a password and a domain name of a requesting node. An acquiring section acquires a destination address including at least a telephone number, a password and a domain name, from the requesting node. A converter converts the e-mail data into facsimile data. A comparator compares the password and the domain name acquired by the acquiring section, with the password and the domain name stored in the memory, respectively. A facsimile transmitter transmits the converted facsimile data to the facsimile destination designated by the telephone number when a result of the comparison indicates that the password and the domain name acquired are the same as the password and the domain name stored in said memory. Further, when a result of the comparison indicates that the password and the domain name acquired are not the same as the password and the domain name stored in the memory, the facsimile transmitter does not transmit the facsimile data to the facsimile destination.
Abstract:
A facsimile control section detects whether or not a transmission destination is busy. When the busy state is detected, the facsimile control section notifies a busy notification mail generating section that the busy state has been detected. In accordance with this notification, the busy notification mail generating section generates a busy notification mail and instructs a mail transmitting section to transmit the generated mail. Thereafter, the facsimile control section executes a retry of facsimile transmission to a facsimile apparatus of transmission destination. This makes it possible for a request source, which is placed at a remote site and the like, to easily recognize whether or not a relay apparatus is retrying.
Abstract:
An electronic-mail reception apparatus has a body and includes a facsimile receiver that negotiates with a sender before receiving image data, to receive image data in facsimile format from the sender via a telephone network. An electronic-mail receiver receives image data in an electronic mail format and character code data in the electronic mail format from a mail sender via a communication network. A converter converts the image data in the electronic mail format into image data in the facsimile format, a font section converts the character code data received by the electronic-mail receiver into image data, and an output section outputs the image data converted by the converter and the image data converted by the font section. The facsimile receiver, the electronic-mail receiver, the converter, the font section and the output section are integrated in the body of the apparatus.
