Abstract: A covalent organic framework and a method of preparing the same are disclosed. The covalent organic framework is used to produce an electrode material and includes a repeating unit represented by the following chemical formula: In the formula, A1, A2, and A3 are the same or different, and are independently a monocyclic or polycyclic aromatic ring, and R1 and R2 are the same or different, and are independently selected from hydrogen, a functional group containing at least one nitrogen, phosphorus, or sulfur, an unsubstituted or substituted C1-C6 alkyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted C2-C6 alkenyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted C2-C6 alkynyl group, and an unsubstituted or substituted C1-C6 alkoxy group.

Abstract: Provided are a porous metal structure including a substrate; a porous metal framework positioned on the substrate; and a plurality of copper (Cu) nanoclusters positioned on a surface of the porous metal framework, wherein the porous metal framework has an inverse opal structure including aligned pores, and a method for producing the same. When the porous metal structure is used as a catalyst of a carbon dioxide conversion reaction, high selectivity to ethanol may be provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a novel naphthalene diimide compound, an electrolyte solution for a redox flow battery containing the same, and a redox flow battery containing the same. The naphthalene diimide compound according to one embodiment exhibits a robust redox behavior, has high solubility in water, and has an advantage of being able to operate at neutral pH. In addition, since the naphthalene diimide compound according to one embodiment may improve the energy density by combining two electrons, it is useful as an additive for an electrolyte solution for a redox flow battery.

Abstract: Provided is an aqueous zinc battery including: a negative electrode including zinc; a positive electrode disposed to be opposite to the negative electrode; and an electrolyte solution including a zinc salt and an organic acid having two carboxylic acid groups, wherein the organic acid having two carboxylic acid groups has 2 to 4 carbon atoms between the two carboxylic acid groups.
It is intended to provide an electrolyte solution for an aqueous zinc battery and an aqueous zinc battery which prevent a passivation layer such as zinc hydroxide sulfate hydrate (ZHS, ZnSO4[Zn(OH)2]3·xH2O)) which deteriorates battery performance from being formed in a zinc electrode, maintain a pH of the electrolyte solution, promote uniform zinc deposition during a constant current cycle, and show improved battery cycle performance.
