    Abstract: The present specification discloses a motor assembly. An embodiment of the motor assembly disclosed in the present specification may comprise: a motor housing in which a motor is received; a shaft which forms the rotation axis of the motor; a rotor which is coupled to the shaft; a plurality of cores and coils which are provided along the circumference of the rotor to form a flux path; and insulators which are coupled to the cores to insulate the cores from the coils, wherein each of the insulators may comprise an insulating portion which covers the outer surface of the corresponding core and a fixing portion which protrudes outward from the insulating portion in the radial direction of the rotor, and the fixing portion may be coupled to the inner circumferential surface of the motor housing.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a power converting device and a home appliance including the same. A power converting device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a first capacitor, a first switching element turned on to output a first voltage stored in the first capacitor to a first node which is one end of an inductive load, a second switching element, one end of which is connected to the first switching element and which is turned on to decrease the voltage of the first node to the first voltage, a third switching element turned on to output a second voltage greater than the first voltage to the first node which is one end of the inductive load, and a fourth switching element, one end of which is connected to the third switching element and which is turned on to decrease the voltage of the first node to the ground voltage. Accordingly, switching loss may be reduced when power is supplied to an inductive load.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a motor assembly comprising a core with an improved structure. An embodiment of the present invention provides a motor assembly comprising: a shaft configured to form a rotational axis of a motor; a rotor coupled to the shaft; and a plurality of cores provided along the circumference of the rotor and configured to form a magnetic path. The cores are spaced apart from the outer circumferential surface of the rotor by a predetermined distance and configured to surround at least a portion of the outer circumferential surface of the rotor, and each comprise: a pole shoe having a first surface parallel to the radial direction of the rotor; and a pole arm extending from the pole shoe toward the radially outer side of the rotor.     Abstract: A device for driving a plurality of motors, including an inverter connected to a DC terminal; a multi-phase motor connected to the inverter; and a single-phase motor serially connected to the multi-phase motor, wherein a number of frequency of current input to the multi-phase motor when driving the single-phase motor and the multi-phase motor at the same speed is smaller than the number of frequency of current input to the multi-phase motor when driving the single-phase motor and the multi-phase motor at different speeds. Accordingly, a plurality of motors can be simultaneously driven at different speeds, by using a single inverter.

    Abstract: A motor assembly includes a motor housing having a shaft, a rotor coupled to the shaft, multiple core assemblies along the circumference of the rotor to form a magnetic path, and a first bearing housing supporting one side of the shaft, a housing cover coupled to the motor housing, an impeller installed on the shaft, a diffuser coupled to the housing cover between the impeller and the rotor, and a shroud containing the impeller and the diffuser. The multiple core assemblies are contained independently and spaced apart from each other along the circumference of the rotor. The housing cover includes a second bearing housing supporting the other side of the shaft. The motor housing includes core support portions for supporting the multiple core assemblies independently, and a first bridge extending from the core support portions to connect the core support portions and the first bearing housing.
