摘要: An apparatus for displaying an image, including: an input image node configured to provide at least a first and a second image modulated lights; and a holographic waveguide device configured to propagate the at least one of the first and second image modulated lights in at least a first direction. The holographic waveguide device includes: at least a first and second interspersed multiplicities of grating elements disposed in at least one layer, the first and second grating elements having respectively a first and a second prescriptions. The first and second multiplicity of grating elements are configured to deflect respectively the first and second image modulated lights out of the at least one layer into respectively a first and a second multiplicities of output rays forming respectively a first and second FOV tiles.

摘要: An apparatus for providing an optical display includes an optical substrate for propagating light received from a light source, a first set of one or more switchable diffractive elements in the substrate, and a second set of one or more switchable diffractive elements in the substrate. Each diffractive element in the second set corresponds to a diffractive element in the first set. Each of the diffractive elements in the first and second sets is configured to switch between on and off states. One of the states is for diffracting light and the other state for allowing light to pass through. Each of the first set of diffractive elements is configured to diffract the light at an angle for propagation in the substrate. Each of the second set of diffractive elements is configured to diffract the light for display.

摘要: A display system includes a light pipe including elongated surfaces and an input coupler. The light pipe is configured to provide an image received by the input coupler and expand the image in a first direction through one of the elongated surfaces. The display also includes a waveguide including an output grating, a first surface, a second surface, and a side surface. The first surface and the second surface have a larger area than the side surface, the output grating being configured to provide the image expanded in a second direction. The second direction is different than the first direction. The image enters the waveguide from the one of the elongated surfaces at the side surface.

摘要: A system and method for providing an apparatus for detecting radiance at a plurality of wavelengths is disclosed. The system and method includes an arrayed pixel sensor with a plurality of sub-pixel sections including a first sub-pixel section configured to detect radiance received from a radiating body at a first wavelength and a second sub-pixel section configured to detect radiance received from the radiating body at a second wavelength. The system and method also determines a ratio of the radiance detected at the first wavelength and the radiance detected at the second wavelength to determine a temperature of the radiating body based on the ratio.
