摘要: Method and apparatus for the measurement of properties of a liquid present in a vessel (2), for example for the measurement of the absorbance of a liquid, of the properties of an agglutination, precipitate (4) or any other reaction result placed on the bottom of a vessel, by means of radiation and of a detector (3) receiving radiation while the vessel moves along with a rotor revolving around the vertical axis (15) of a centrifuge. Thereby the beam of measurement (5) coming from the source of radiation (1) passes substantially horizontally and the intensity of the radiation passing through, or reflected from, the contents of the vessel is measured. According to the invention, for the purpose of the measurement of the properties of the liquid, after the vessel (2) has pivoted for the measurement by the effect of centrifugal force so that its longitudinal axis is positioned substantially horizontally, a field of limited area is measured out of the bottom of the vessel (2) while the vessel (2) moves along with the rotor of the centrifuge through the space between the source of radiation (1) and the detector (3). The measurement result of the component field at each particular time under measurement is read constantly or at specified intervals for the purpose of processing and output of the information.

摘要: The subject of the present invention is a transfer device for analysis equipment, which transfer device comprises a track consisting of, inter alia, guide and support rails on which to transfer a pit plate on a transport cassette along the track. The transport cassette includes a traction rail parallel to the guide and support rails. Traction units are fitted onto the track in the transfer device as means operative jointly with said traction rail to move the transport cassette. In order to control the operation of the traction units, the traction rail is provided with sign codes readable by means of an optical reading device. This indicates the position of the cassette relative to the optical reading device so that the transport cassette may be stopped to position the desired line of pits, transverse to the track for operations to be performed in the analysis equipment, such as liquid dosage, photometric measurement operations, etc.

摘要: There is disclosed a micro-cuvette unit comprising a plurality of components in the form of a matrix which is arranged so that the cuvettes may be handled as one unit. The structural body of the micro-cuvette unit comprises a rectangular frame which is designed so that a plurality of cuvette components may be fitted to the frame, one after another. Each cuvette component comprises a plurality of cuvettes arranged in the form of a line or matrix and connected to each other directly or by means of support discs. The frame part of the micro-cuvette unit is open in the middle, at least within the area covered by the cuvettes in the cuvette components. The frame part contains two opposite sides which are provided with connecting means for joining the cuvette components to the frame part. These connecting means are different on different sides of the frame part and on different sides of the cuvette components so that their positions in relationship to each other may be readily determined and so that the identification of samples may be facilitated.

摘要: The subject of the present invention is an apparatus for precise mutual dilution and dosage of liquids, which apparatus comprises a dilution and dosage unit consisting of two cylinder spaces of different volumes and cross-sectional areas, as compared with each other, and connected to a common intake and exhaust tip, as well as of pistons arranged into said cylinder spaces. According to the invention, in each dilution and dosage unit, the lower part of the smaller cylinder space forms the intake and exhaust tip and the piston in the smaller cylinder space consists of a tubular component whose upper part is opened into the lower part of the larger cylinder space of the dilution and dosage unit concerned. In each dilution and dosage unit, a part of the intake pipe to the larger cylinder operates as the piston of the smaller cylinder

摘要: A code system for the identification of a sample group to be measured in a multi-channel photometer or in any other multi-channel analysis equipment, e.g. in a spectrophotometer, fluorometer, luminometer, turbidometer, nefelometer, cell counter, or isotope counter. The samples to be measured have been fitted in the matrix form into cuvette sets, sets of test tubes, or pit plates, and the measurement takes place preferably in the vertical direction. The sample group to be measured is provided with a related code piece, such as a code plate, containing the measurement points to be ready by means of the analysis equipment. According to the invention, the measurement points of the code piece are in the same order and with the same relative distances as compared with the measurement channels of the said multi-channel photometer or any other multi-channel analysis equipment, or with a part of or a multiple of said channels. The code piece is arranged so as to be readable by means of the measurement channels of the multi-channel photometer or any other multi-channel analysis equipment in one or several subsequent steps without using a separate code reader.
