Abstract: A first network node (e.g., a UE) may receive, from a second BS network node (e.g., a base station), DCI. The first network node may perform, based on the DCI, a BWP switch from a first BWP to a second BWP. The first network node may perform, after the BWP switch, a BWP switch failure detection procedure that results in a first determination or a second determination. The first determination may be indicative that the BWP switch was successful and the second determination may be indicative that the BWP switch was not successful. To perform the BWP switch failure detection procedure, the first network node may determine whether one or more failure conditions are satisfied. The one or more failure conditions may include at least one of a BLER greater than a threshold, occurrence of one or more tune away events, or non-receipt of an uplink grant on the second BWP.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless node may receive one or more data messages which may include a set of packets that may each be associated with a sequence number. The set of packets may be received with a gap in the set of sequence numbers, indicating missing packets. The wireless node may forward the set of packets to a processing layer of the wireless node. The wireless node may then accept, from the processing layer of the wireless node, a set of duplicate (DUP) acknowledgment (ACK) messages based on the set of packets being forwarded to the processing layer while having the gap in the set of sequence numbers. The wireless node may transmit, a subset of the set of DUP ACKs rather than all of the set of DUP ACKs to another wireless node, such as a base station.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, via a first connection of a dual connectivity mode, a first packet having a first sequence number. The UE may receive, via a second connection of the dual connectivity mode, a second packet having a second sequence number. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the first sequence number and the second sequence number, that the first packet is received out of order. The UE may maintain a packet order for reception of subsequent packets via the first connection or the second connection. The UE may drop the first packet based at least in part on the determination that the first packet is received out of order. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a number of uplink grants from a base station. The method further includes estimating a payload size for data to be transmitted from a UE buffer for a number of logical channels. The payload size corresponds to a sum of a number of data bytes to be transmitted and an amount of overhead bytes to be transmitted. The method still further includes determining a subset of the number of uplink grants to use for uplink transmission based on reducing a total padding size associated with transmitting the payload size, for each combination of the number of uplink grants. The method also includes transmitting the data from the UE buffer within a number of transport blocks, to the base station. The number of transport blocks corresponds to the subset of the number of uplink grants.

Abstract: Aspects are provided allowing a MSIM UE to transmit a controlled pattern of fake HARQ-ACK and a controlled RLC status report in response to un-decoded data transmissions from a base station, while suspending SRS antenna switching during performance of an activity in a different network subscription, in order to relieve MCS penalties in response to such suspension while minimizing RLC holes. The UE sends a plurality of SRSs to a base station in a first network using a first SIM of the UE, where each of the SRSs is sent using a different antenna. The UE suspends SRS transmission from the different antennas while performing an activity in a second network using a second SIM of the UE. The UE sends a HARQ-ACK to the base station while the SRS transmission is suspended in response to at least one of a plurality of un-decoded data transmissions from the base station.
