    摘要: Various embodiments include methods for adjusting timing advance values on a mobile communication device that includes receiving, on the mobile communication device, a timing advance adjustment value from a base station and determining whether the timing advance adjustment value exceeds an adjustment threshold. The mobile communication device may ignore the timing advance adjustment value in response to determining that the timing advance adjustment value exceeds the adjustment threshold, and may adjust a timing advance value stored on the mobile communication device by the timing advance adjustment value in response to determining that the timing advance adjustment value does not exceed the adjustment threshold.

    摘要: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus, e.g., UE, suspends a discarding process of data packets associated with a first RAT during tune away by the UE to a second RAT by stopping a discard timer. The UE restarts the discarding process in response to an occurrence of a triggering event. The triggering event may occur when the UE tunes back to the first RAT, or when a duration of the UE tune away to the second RAT exceeds a threshold. The discarding process may be restarted by resuming the discard timer at the point in time where it was stopped or by resetting the timer to zero.

    摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques and apparatus for optimizing long term evolution (LTE) connected discontinuous reception (CDRX) for single radio hybrid tune away devices. Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). The method generally includes entering a DRX mode wherein the UE alternates between an activity period and an inactivity period while connected to a first radio access technology (RAT) network, tuning away from the first RAT network for a tune away period to monitor signals in a second RAT network, determining when an inactivity timer for the DRX mode expires or will expire, and adjusting a value of the inactivity timer based, at least in part, on the determination.

    摘要: Various aspects described herein relate to a user equipment (UE) that can receive a configuration for a radio bearer with an SCell in a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration procedure initiated by a primary cell (PCell) serving the UE. A component carrier with the SCell can be activated based at least in part on receiving a control element indicating to activate the component carrier for the radio bearer. It can be determined whether a first deactivation timer, for deactivating the component carrier with the SCell after a period of detected inactivity on the SCell, is configured by the PCell. A second deactivation timer can be configured for deactivating the component carrier with the SCell based at least in part on a determination that the first deactivation timer is not configured by the PCell or that a first configured duration of the first deactivation timer achieves a threshold.
