    Abstract: An ordnance munition is included in an intelligent ordnance projectile delivery system and equipped with targeting and guidance systems that allow the ordnance munition to collaborate with other devices to intelligently select targets and/or to guide the ordnance munition to its selected target. The ordnance munition may be configured to generate first location information based on its determined approximate location, send the generated first location information to a wireless transceiver in proximity to the first ordnance munition, and receive location information from the wireless transceiver in response. The ordnance munition may determine its more precise location based on the received location information, and generating second location information based on the more precise location. The ordnance munition may change or adjust its flight path or trajectory based on the generated second location information.

    Abstract: Fixed infrastructure devices (FIDs) may be configured to work with other devices (e.g., other FIDs, mobile wireless devices, etc.) to obtain or improve location information and/or provide enhanced location based services (e.g., emergency location service, commercial location service, internal location service, lawful intercept location service, etc.) to other devices or programs. For example, a first fixed wireless device may be configured to receive information that was obtained via a geospatial system, and determine whether it is able to establish a location fix based on this information. In response to determining that it is unable to establish a location fix based on the received information, the device may establish a communication group and/or collect additional location information from devices that belong to the communication group. The device may use this information to compute a new three-dimensional location fix, and use this new fix to provide the location based service.

    Abstract: Methods, devices and systems for generating enhanced location information on or about a mobile device. A mobile device may be configured to determine an initial location value, compute an initial location accuracy value, compare the initial location accuracy value to a threshold value, and establish a communications group with a plurality of transceivers in response to determining that the initial location accuracy value exceeds the threshold value. In response to establishing the communications group, the mobile device may receive location information from the transceivers, use the received location information to determine a trilateration position value, and compute a trilateration variance value. The mobile device may then determine a final location value based on a combination of the initial location value, initial location accuracy value, trilateration position value, and trilateration variance value, and use the final location value to provide an enhanced location based service.

    Abstract: Methods, devices and systems for generating enhanced location information on or about a mobile device may include hybrid lateration and/or trilateration solutions in which the mobile device performs location determination calculations with or without the aid or support of network components or global positioning systems (GPS). Mobile devices may automatically form groups based on proximity and/or may be grouped together via a network server. Mobile devices in a group may share computed location information and/or information collected from internal sensors with other grouped mobile devices. Information shared between grouped mobile devices may be used to enhance the location information computed on each mobile device. For example, each mobile device may supplement and/or augment previously computed location information based on the received location information and/or relative positions of other mobile devices in the same group. Each mobile device may also utilize local sensors to further enhance their location information.
