    摘要: A polymer parison to be blow molded into a container configuration including a reduced diameter neck and a taper wall disposed between the neck and a greater diameter body portion of the container, which is shaped to permit a sufficient amount of stretch to be imparted to the taper wall forming portion of the parison which has a less-stretching tendency during the blow molding operation. Polyethylene terephthalate exhibits greatly improved characteristics and enhanced durability when it is biaxially stretched more than a certain fixed level. The parison is formed by injection molding such that when the parison is placed in the mold cavity, the taper wall forming portion is at an increased spaced distance away from the cavity wall so as to achieve a sufficient amount of stretch, as noted in the body forming portion of the parison, when it is blown to assume the contour of the mold.

    摘要: A combustion apparatus for a refuse incinerator has a plurality of rows of grates arranged in parallel in the directions of breadth and in series in the longitudinal directions of a combustion zone and a post-combustion zone of the combustion apparatus. The rows consist of immobile grates and mobile grates alternately arranged. Immobile girders support the immobile grates. Mobile girders support the mobile grates. A partition wall divides the combustion apparatus into the combustion zone and the post-combustion zone. Seals cooperates with the mobile girders and are located on the partition wall. A hydraulic cylinder shuttles the mobile girders. Bearing housings are mounted on upper protrusions of the mobile girders holding the mobile grates so as to be able to vibrate. The engagement between the bearing housing and the mobile grates in the post-combustion zone allows play in the direction of driving the mobile girders so that the working stroke of the mobile grates in the post-combustion zone is shorter than the working stroke of the mobile grates in the combustion zone.

    摘要: A sensing circuit for detecting a change in a normal characteristic of an object such as a change in a normal temperature characteristic, a change in a normal magnetic field characteristic, or a change in a normal light falling on the sensing element of the sensing circuit is provided. The circuit employs a four-terminal semiconductor device having alternate layers of conductivity type, which has an amplification characteristic of the collector current to the base-emitter grounded, wherein there is a sharp decrease in the h.sub.FE amplification characteristic at one value of gate to emitter voltage. This point represents the point in which the semiconductor device is biased for a normally desired characteristic being sensed. Whenever there is a deviation from this normal position, there is a sharp rise in the h.sub.FE irrespective of what the direction of deviation is. The h.sub.FE gain then substantially levels off.
