The display panel comprises a lower display substrate that includes a plurality of light emitting elements, and an upper display substrate that includes a color control layer and is on the lower display substrate. The color control layer includes a plurality of walls each of which includes a wall base including an organic material and a reflective layer including a metallic material, and the color control layer also includes a plurality of color control parts which are disposed between the plurality of walls and at least one of which includes a quantum dot. The reflective layer surrounds at least a portion of a sidewall of the wall base, which results in an increase in luminous efficiency and an improvement in brightness.

摘要： A liquid crystal display includes a substrate, a thin film transistor, a first protection layer, a pixel electrode, a light blocking layer, a second protection layer, and a roof layer. The thin film transistor is disposed on the substrate. The first protection layer is disposed on the thin film transistor. The pixel electrode is disposed on the first protection layer. The light blocking layer is disposed on the pixel electrode to cover the thin film transistor. The second protection layer is disposed on the light blocking layer. The roof layer is disposed to face the pixel electrode, wherein a plurality of microcavities having injection holes are formed between the pixel electrode and the roof layer. The microcavities comprise liquid crystal molecules, and the first protection layer and the second protection layer have different etch rates.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a wire grid polarizer for a display apparatus includes the steps of forming a first layer on a base substrate including an active area and a peripheral area surrounding the active area, forming a hard mask layer on the first layer, coating an imprint resin on the hard mask layer, forming an imprint resin pattern by imprinting a stamp on the imprint resin, wherein the stamp is larger than the base substrate, forming a hard mask pattern by patterning the hard mask layer using the imprint resin pattern, forming a wire grid pattern layer by pattering the first layer using the hard mask pattern, forming a photoresist pattern in the active area on the base substrate, removing the hard mask pattern and the wire grid pattern layer in the peripheral area using the photoresist pattern, and forming a capping layer on the wire grid pattern.

摘要： A manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display includes: providing a pixel electrode on an insulation substrate; providing a sacrificial layer on the pixel electrode; providing a common electrode on the sacrificial layer; providing a photoresist layer on the common electrode; exposing a portion of the photoresist layer, common electrode and the sacrificial layer with light; developing the portion of the photoresist layer exposed with the light; etching a layer between the photoresist layer and the sacrificial layer using the developed photoresist layer as a mask to expose the portion of the sacrificial layer exposed with the light; removing the portion of the sacrificial layer exposed with the light; providing a roof layer on the insulation substrate and etching the roof layer to form a liquid crystal injection hole therein; and removing the sacrificial layer exposed through the liquid crystal injection hole to form a microcavity.
