    Abstract: Disclosed are an electronic device for making a connection with an external electronic device and a method of operating the same. A method of operating a first electronic device includes acquiring virtual device information associated with a second electronic device and connection information between the second electronic device and one or more third electronic devices, which is generated based on the virtual device information, and making a connection with the one or more third electronic devices through short range wireless communication by using the virtual device information and the connection information.

    Abstract: According to various examples of the present invention, a wearable electronic device comprises: an energy harvester for generating electric energy on the basis of a movement or a change in the shape of the wearable electronic device; a first processor for controlling the energy harvester; a first sensor and a second sensor; and a second processor for controlling the first sensor and the second sensor, wherein the first processor transmits, to the second processor, a control signal for transitioning the second processor into an activated state if the electric energy generated by the energy harvester satisfies a designated first condition, and the second processor can be set such that first sensor data is acquired through the first sensor and second sensor data is selectively acquired from the second sensor according to whether the first sensor data satisfies a designated second condition, when the second processor is transitioned from an inactivated state to the activated state by responding to the control signal.

    Abstract: A quantum dot device includes an anode, a hole injection layer on the anode, a hole transport layer on the hole injection layer, a quantum dot layer on the hole transport layer, and a cathode on the quantum dot layer, wherein a highest occupied molecule orbital (HOMO) energy level of the quantum dot layer is greater than or equal to about 5.6 electronvolts (eV), a difference between a HOMO energy level of the hole transport layer and the highest occupied molecule orbital energy level of the quantum dot layer is less than about 0.5 eV, the hole injection layer has a first surface contacting the anode and a second surface contacting the hole transport layer, and a HOMO energy level of the first surface of the hole injection layer is different from a HOMO energy level of the second surface of the hole injection layer.

    Abstract: A method of an electronic device and the electronic device including a first processor operable at a first power level and a second processor operable at a second power level are provided. The method includes receiving first location information of the electronic device from an external electronic device through at least one first sensor functionally connected with the first processor, and upon failure to identify second location information of the electronic device from the external electronic device through the at least one first sensor using the first processor, obtaining the second location information through at least one second sensor functionally connected with the second processor using the second processor.
