    Abstract: A integrated light source module includes a planar optical waveguides layer having N light incident ports aligned with respect to each other, M light exit ports aligned with respect to each other, and optical waveguides connected to the N light incident ports and the M light exit ports, and N optical semiconductor devices facing each of the N light incident ports arranged so that light emitted from each of the N optical semiconductor devices can be incident on each of the N light incident ports, wherein light emitted from the M light exit ports can be applied to an object to be irradiated.

    Abstract: A metasurface reflector includes: a first metal layer and a second metal layer stacked in a first direction; and a dielectric layer provided between the first metal layer and the second metal layer in the first direction. The dielectric layer includes a main surface on which the second metal layer is provided. The metasurface reflector is divided into a plurality of unit regions arranged in a second direction along the main surface and in a third direction along the main surface and intersecting the second direction. The second metal layer includes metal units respectively provided in all or some of the plurality of unit regions. Lengths of metal units, which are arranged in the second direction and set for a same wavelength among the metal units, in the second direction are different from each other.

    Abstract: A laser assembly of the present invention includes a plurality of laser element bases in which laser elements are installed on main surfaces, an optical waveguiding substrate in which an optical waveguiding layer is provided on a main surface, a plurality of spacer layers which are disposed away from each other at positions corresponding to the bases on a bonding surface of the substrate, and a plurality of metal laminate films which bond bonding surfaces of the plurality of laser element bases and the bonding surface of the optical waveguiding substrate. The plurality of metal laminate films are respectively disposed on the plurality of spacer layers and have a plurality of first metal films and second metal films that are disposed on the bonding surfaces of the plurality of laser element bases and made of metals capable of being eutectic with metals constituting the first metal films.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a video laser module including: a substrate provided with an optical waveguide; and a subcarrier with a laser light source mounted thereon, the method including: while supplying an electric current to the laser light source via an electrode provided in the subcarrier and oscillating a laser from the laser light source, approaching the subcarrier to an input port of the optical waveguide provided in the substrate; detecting a light intensity at an output port of the optical waveguide; adjusting a position of the subcarrier so that the light intensity is maximized; and metal-bonding the subcarrier and the substrate at a position of the subcarrier where the light intensity is maximized.

    Abstract: In a solar cell in a sheet form, a first cured resin layer, a substrate containing a resin, a photoelectric conversion layer, and a second cured resin layer are stacked in this order. The linear expansion coefficient of the first cured resin layer is not less than that of the second cured resin layer, and the linear expansion coefficient of the second cured resin layer is larger than that of the substrate. When the cure degree of a first surface of the first cured resin layer facing the substrate is C1 % and the cure degree of a second surface of the first cured resin layer is C2 %, C2 is larger than C1 and (C2−C1) is 2 to 15%. A surface on the first cured resin layer of the solar cell is warped convexly and a surface on the second cured resin layer is warped concavely.
