    摘要: A method of a wireless communication device operably connectable to a first cell of a first public land mobile network—PLMN—applying a first radio access technology—RAT, is disclosed. The method comprises detecting (301) a second cell of a second PLMN applying a second RAT and determining (302) whether a network relation exists between the first cell and the second cell. The method also comprises performing (304) a connection set up to the first cell if it is determined that a network relation exists between the first cell and the second cell, and performing (303) the connection set up to the second cell if it is determined that there does not exist a network relation between the first cell and the second cell. Also disclosed is an arrangement for a wireless communication device, a wireless communication device and a computer program product.

    摘要: The gain of an amplifier in a receiver operating in a cellular communication system is controlled by determining one or more gain variability metrics, which are then used to produce first and second threshold values. A frequency difference between a current carrier frequency and a target carrier frequency is ascertained and then compared to the threshold values. Target gain setting production is based on comparison results: If the frequency difference is larger than the first threshold, a full automatic gain control algorithm is performed; if the frequency difference is smaller than the first threshold and larger than the second threshold, an optimized automatic gain control algorithm is performed, wherein the optimized automatic gain control algorithm uses a current gain setting as a starting point; and if the frequency difference is smaller than both the first and second thresholds, the current gain setting is used as the target gain setting.

The method comprises, to the CN, sending a request for a first QoS to be associated with the communication bearer. The method also comprises exchanging data over the radio bearer in accordance with the first QoS of the communication bearer. The method also comprises, to the RAN, sending an indication that a second QoS, lower than the first QoS, should be used for the radio bearer. The method also comprises exchanging data over the radio bearer in accordance with the second QoS.

    摘要: A method a wireless communication device and a corresponding method for a network node of a cellular communication system are disclosed. The network node and the wireless communication device are configured to communicate with each other according to an automatic repeat request (ARQ) protocol having a requirement that a number of time units between reception of an ARQ packet and transmission of an associated response message is smaller than a maximum response time. According to the methods, the wireless communication device transmits at least one measurement gap adaptation signal to the network node. The network node determines a measurement gap configuration of the wireless communication device based on the measurement gap adaptation signal, wherein measurement gaps of the measurement gap configuration have a length smaller than the maximum response time. The network node transmits an indication of the measurement gap configuration to the wireless communication device, which uses the measurement gap configuration to perform measurements. Corresponding computer program product, arrangements, network node and wireless communication device are also disclosed.

    摘要: A network node in a cellular telecommunications system hands over responsibility for serving a wireless communication equipment from a serving cell to a target cell, wherein the wireless communication equipment is situated in a first aircraft that is in-flight. An aircraft position, an aircraft velocity, and an aircraft direction are determined. For each candidate cell of a number of candidate cells, a level of beam distortion that would result from a beam directed from the candidate cell to the first aircraft is predicted. The target cell is selected from the candidate cells by identifying which of the candidate cells has a least amount of predicted beam distortion. The target cell is then signaled to prepare for a handover of responsibility for serving the wireless communication equipment.
